Side Swipe had never though of life without Iron Hide. He wouldn't say if he loved the mech or not. He remembered how he took care of him, tried to tame him and all they learned together. He knew due to war, any one of them would or could die. But, for a fellow Autobot to murder another Autobot, was something his mind couldn't wrap around. Not just any Autobot had taken the mech from him, but their very own Sentinel Prime. The mech who promised them a future and had given them hope. He had taught them how to dream again.
It wasn't that he had no faith in Optimus Prime, for he did, but he felt a slight bitterment towards him. He knew Sentinel the best so how could he had been fooled? How could a Prime be evil? It went against everything it meant to be a Prime. The fallen had been a Prime, but, he was the only one who fell. That ideal had been pounded into him. If The Fallen…and now Sentinel Prime fell…could Optimus Prime fall as well?
