-Chapter 1-

To say Aurelia was ready to get off the bus was an understatement.

The rickety old vehicle creaked and rocked. Aurelia looked over at her brother, Abel. His head was pressed uncomfortably against the window as he slept, drooling. His headphones were over his ears. She shook his shoulder and he stirred, still not fully awake.

"Abel! Hey!" Aurelia snapped her fingers in his face. "We're here," she said.

"Wh-what?" stuttered Abel. "Oh, uh, yeah." Abel pressed a button on the side of the headphone cord to pause his music. "Freaking A great. We've officially entered Hell."

"C'mon, bro…" Aurelia answered. "It can't be that bad. Just-let's fit in."

"Fit in?" snorted Abel. "You must be forgetting who we are."

Aurelia shook her head in disappointment. "It just can't be that bad." Abel laughed without humor. He looked her in the eye, with a look of dead-seriousness.

"Yeah. I mean, it's only Bullworth Academy. It's just the worst school in the country – no, on the planet – so what could go wrong?"

Aurelia sighed at Abel. "Ever the optimistic one, huh?" Abel ran his hair through his spiked blonde hair. Abel was a very attractive guy, the type of person that the girls wanted to have and the rest of the guys wanted to be – smart, athletic, and a bit of a rebel.

Aurelia was a bit younger than Abel – two years, to be exact – but she was every bit as good-looking as her brother. She had chocolate-brown eyes, fiery red hair that curled wildly like a real fire, and a charmingly devilish smile. Aurelia knew how to use her looks to her own advantage, but she wasn't a sinister person.

The pair were immensely popular among their peers, but inevitably, that led to their own downfalls that forced them into the experience of rehabilitation at Bullworth Academy.
