Cross the Sea, Butterfree
Chapter 1
We find our heroes going aboard the S.S Anne, returning to Vermilion City, where Ash Ketchum is hoping to win the Thunder Badge. This will make him one step closer to being a Pokémon Master.
"Well the festival was fun, but its back to reality!" Said Ash in a positive tone
"Pi-Pika-Pi!" Pikachu chirped
Once Ash, Misty, Brock and Pikachu boarded the S.S Anne, they went to the side of the ship to watch them leave Maidens Peek.
As per usual, Misty was hungry. Since meeting with Ash and joining him on his journey to be a Pokémon Master she had piled on lots of weight. She had gone from chubby to obese.
"Ash when are we getting food? I'm hungry" Misty asked Ash quietly while patting her enormous belly.
"When we find some?" Ash responded, sounding clueless.
"Oh boy" Brock sighed.
Ash and Misty said nothing and gave Brock a stern look.
Soon there was a loud foghorn sound which was a loud tooting sound, and the S.S Anne left Maidens Peek. Ash and his friends watched Maidens Peek disappear into the distance as the ship set sail for Vermilion City.
Just then the captain made an announcement on the tannoy.
"Good morning, I hope you enjoyed the festival. While it is optional, we will be stopping the boat for an hour in the middle of the ocean so trainers can release their Butterfree's into the wild so they can breed"
Ash's heart sank.
"Release…Butterfree..?" Ash stammered
Ash then got Butterfree's Pokeball and let Buttefree out.
"Freee!" Butterfree chirped.
This was going to be hard for Ash to break to Butterfree.
