Title: Life Living as a Snape
Chapter: #1
By: Hiddenwolf2
MYA's POV
"Mya! Time to leave!"
My mother was screeching down the hallway, sounding like a complete pansy again. Sheesh, she could be at least be a little more understanding. I still have like thirty minutes before I have to be at platform nine and three quarters. I rolled my eyes and continued brushing my shiny, black hair- unconsciously counting the cola-red highlights in it. Seven. Wow, did I really want to rebel this summer.
"Mya Melody Snape! You get down here this instant, young lady!" There goes my mother. God, does she know when to stop? Shaking my head, I grabbed my guitar case and car keys.
"Alright Ma! I'm coming!"
I slid down the railing, grabbing my wand from Lopsy, one of our many house elves, and landed next to my mother. She scoffed loudly at my entrance and opened her mouth to say something, but seemed to decide better of it. It's a no-brainer that she hates me. After all, how could she not? I rebel against her every chance I get, I have the worst manners ever (in front of her), and I always lose to my twin brother, Severus at everything and anything (on purpose of course).
"Just wait until your father hears about this…" Blah, blah, another great lecture on discipline. I wonder when she'll finally figure out that I never listen. I glanced over at my wonderful brother. Joy, Severus is snickering at me.
"Shove it Sev."
I growled at him. My mother glared at me, suddenly stopping her lecture. Great, just great, now I'll have to 'apologize' to him nicely because I 'hurt' his feelings.
"Mya Snape! You apologize to your brother this instant.'
What can I say; she hates me. I walked over to Sev and hugged him hard.
I whispered harshly in his ear, "I'll get you back later."
My mother smiled happily, which even scarier than seeing her frown. Her long, black hair was swept up into a fancy twist, probably a house elf's doing. She was wearing her long, black robes- how 'Mrs. Snape-ish' of her.
"Time to go my dears, the train can't wait all day."
She ushered Severus into the back of his black Volvo, while I headed happily towards my dark blue, Tacoma truck. Finally, we were leaving this house for good. You see, it was my final and seventh year at Hogwarts, I doubted I was going to come back here except for my clothes. I didn't know about Sev though, he might stick around for a bit after we finish school.
"My babies' all grown up!'
My mother was 'sobbing' as our trunks were levitated in our respected vehicles. She was clutching onto Sev, hugging him tight. I pointed at him while she had her back turned to me and giggled. He just gave me the 'evil eye' and flipped me off. Tsh, some brother I have.
I climbed in my trunk, beckoning the housekeeper to grab a seat next to me. I trusted him to bring my car safely back here, where it'll sit and gather dust till I come home again. My trunk safely loaded in the back; I pulled out of my driveway, not bothering to say good-bye to my mother. Finally I was heading back to my real home, Hogwarts.
