Trials unfair for a boy my age,

hearts righteous and pure.

Friends are true and caring.

They believe in me,

my goofy smile fools them,

my happy laughter fills their hearts with hope,

my cheerful outlook never changing.

Don't let my smile fool you,

my pain is deep,

my scars are real.

None have seen the darkness in me,

eating away at my soul.

The sadness overwhelms me,

empty and strong.

I have fought more times than you know,

to save not one world,

but many.

My trials go unseen,

selfish hearts yell for my help.

I come to them,

the boy of hope,

the boy with the keyblade.

Spiked brown hair,

and energetic blue eyes.

I am the savior of many hearts.

I rarely wish the darkness would comsume me,

drown my fear and pain,

no longer a savior of hearts.

Don't let my smile fool you,

you know me better than that.

My heart beats for others,

selfless and overwhelmingly caring,

I give my all to others,

and hardly think about myself.

But when I stop to think of the life I lead,

a sadness overwhelms me.

But I know better than most,

that crying won't help me,

and that I have to take action,

yet again.

My smile will be real for now,

only for you my dear friends.
