AN: Hey-lo to all! I know I haven't posted something in forever (it always seems like that). I've just been uber busy with school and work. But now I'm on spring break so I have a little time to finally write what I've come up with over the past couple months. You can interpret this poem in a lot of different ways, but from how I see it, it's Kairi talking to Ansem (er...Xehanort) when she found out he used her.
::Final Act::
If love is a performance
Then you just gave your last
You put on a show
But I wasn't smiling
You tried to drag me on stage
But I found you out
Now you're standing alone
In the theater of your life
Your deceptive charm
It was a sold-out show
Wish I hadn't bought my ticket
Cost too much and hurt me in the end
You almost had me though
Good thing we saw through you
The crowd's applause died down into silence
No one's clapping for you now
You look so scared
Like a magician whose secret's been revealed
There's no trick up your sleeve
No using me this time
During your final act
The lights turned dark
And the curtain fell
It couldn't have been more entertaining
