Dear Diary,
Well, it's been about a week since I came to live here in Sandover. My new Daddy is really nice to me. And the villagers are nice too!
And today, when I was out playing, I ran into the cutest boy I'd ever saw.
Okay. I was out playing at the beach (Its SOO pretty there!), and I leaned over to smell a pretty flower. But when I did, I bumped my head!
I jumped back, and rubbed my head. But when I looked up, I didn't see a rock (I thought that's what I bumped into). Instead, I saw a boy!
He had greenish-yellowish hair, was tall, and REALLY cute. But… Those weren't the things I really noticed. His eyes were so… deep.
Anyway. He looked at me, really worried for some reason. IF there was any pain from the bump, I didn't feel it at the time! Then, he took my hand, and picked me up off of the ground.
The next thing I know, he picked the flower, and gave it to me, smiling! And then we walked back to the village.
I didn't get to hear his name today, but I hope to find out soon!
Anyway. That's about it. Bye!
Keira
-----------------------------------------------------
Keira nearly cried as she read that entry. The pages were stained and torn from age, but as she read, the memories were vivid and clear.
She sat in the ruins of her old Sandover home, reminiscing the past, and especially, all those years she spent with Jak. As she closed the old book of her past, she pulled out an old, dead flower.
It used to be the most beautiful shade of blue, rimmed with gold. Now, it was nothing more than a wrinkle.
"Just like our relationship…" she spattered, dropping the flower to the ground, and watched as it broke into several pieces when it hit.
"It was so full of life, but soon died."
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes, a rather short fiction, but it had to be done.
Ever since the end of Jak 3, I personally HAVE wept over the loss of the JakxKeira relationship. It was my absolute favorite in the series. And knowing Keira, she HAD to have been affected by it.
So, I just wrote this to remind everyone that there WAS something beautiful between them, and that no one should ever forget it.
