Glimmer woke up, she blinked a few times to get her vision correct. She noticed her headset to the virtual reality world. "Thank god it's Saturday, or else I'd be dead." She rolled her eyes. She went to her laptop, and opened Discord. She had 3 friends on the group dm she mainly chatted on. Pop, Klee, Shark. Shark was annoying, Klee was fun to talk too, and Pop was cool. But she loved talking to them all. Pop and her usually had conflicts, but she didn't mind. She looked around, and waited for someone to message. The first person to message was Pop. "Anyone getting the new game? It's for the vr headset.". "Maybe." She responded. "I am!" Shark responded as well. She glanced at her clock, and noticed it was almost time for breakfast. She quickly got dressed into her cat ears, cat shirt and some jeans. She combed her Lavender-colored hair and smiled. She did her makeup and went downstairs. "Morning mom!" She chirped. "Morning dear." Her mom smiled. Suddenly, her phone rang. "Who's that?" Her mom questioned. "Probably a scammer.". Her mom nodded. "What's for breakfast?" She changed the subject. "Toast, as always.". "Oh.. I was hoping for something better." She muttered. She quickly took a piece of toast, ate it and sipped some milk. She went upstairs. She noticed her friends had been chatting on discord. "What are you guys talking about?" She texted. "The new game for the vr headset, it's amazing!" Pop responded. "No joke!" Shark added. "I heard it's expensive." Klee said. "First few customers got it for free, me and shark got 2 for you guys too!" He quickly responded. "Oh?" She texted. "Cool." Klee responded. Shark sent a random emoji like always. "Well.. I think I don't trust the first 'virtual reality' game." She responded. "WHAT?!" Pop texted in a blink of an eye. "What's wrong with that?" She questioned Pop. "It's only the most amazing game ever, though!" He responded. "So?" Klee asked. "Fine, fine i'll try it." Glimmer quickly responded before a fight broke out. "Finally." Pop cooled down. "Maybe we can all play together?" Asked Shark. Everyone agreed. Eventually, she went to pick up the game from Pop. All her friends were there. "So we're played now?" She smiled awkwardly. "Heck yeah!" Pop yowled. "O-oh, okay!" She nodded. She put on her vr headset, and waited for the others. They all yelled 'Game start' at the same time. She was teleported to a real life-like game. She made her character look somewhat like herself in real life. She went to find Pop and her friends, but they found her before she could find them. A few hours later, she spoke up. "My mom said I had to go home now.." She tried logging out, but the button wasn't there. "Where's the logout button?" She asked. "Dunno, try contacting the creator?" Pop answered. "Klee, I did for you, but they're not responding.". "I'm sure it's just a bug, there's no way it couldn't!" Pop laughed. "Maybe." She muttered. "But what if it isn't?" Klee asked. "I guess we're stuck here." She answered. The others nodded, sadness glazed their eyes. ~End of chapter one~
