Overall summary: When coming upon the giant cube known as the 'Link Cube' Yamato Kazakiri finds himself in the mysterious world of Zyuland with it's inhabitants of walking and talking animals. However, one day the aliens known as the Deathgalien come to the Earth and begin their dangerous game, threatening and attacking the people from both worlds. In order to protect both and all life in them, the Champion Symbols allows Yamato and the four Zyumen, Sela, Tusk, Leo, and Amu to become Dobutsu Sentai Zyuohger.
Character Descriptions
Yamato Kazaraki/Zyuoh Eagle
Description: Yamato is a zoologist who loves to study and take care of animals. When Yamato was younger, his mother died and he moved in with his uncle. Though he didn't let his past hold him down or make him sad as Yamato has always tried to stay positive and happy. Upon finding a champion symbol, Yamato finds himself in the world of Zyuland and gained the powers of Zyuoh Eagle upon the deathgalien's initial attack. With his newfound powers, Yamato maintains his promise to protect both the Earth and Zyuland even if it costs him his life. And he wants to be able to connect with other people and be their friends as he himself often felt alone after his mother's death which had left a strong void in his heart. Yamato never knew his real father as he had abandoned his mother the moment he was born, his mom and his uncle Mario took turns in raising him. His uncle would come over and bring him books about different animals and take him on safari trips to the more jungle, unpopulated sides of Japan where he was utterly fascinated and amazed by wildlife and their mannerisms. He developed a close bond with a bird he saw one day and decided to care for it whenever he went with Mario. However, because other kids were turned off by his absolute obsession with animals, even copying their behavior on the playground, they didn't talk with him, seeing him as a freak. Because of this, Yamato grew to being a bit self-conscious and unsure around others, even with his new job as a zoologist, he still gets doutbful during his field trips with tourists.
Sela/Zyuoh Shark
Description: Sela is a shark zyuman and is one of the first people who see's Yamato entering their world. She is a very kind and compassionate girl who's very strong and upstanding in her beliefs and has never liked being treated like a ordinary girl by others. She has always had a very stern belief of doing things herself and not needing a man around her to get by, seeing it as them being disrespectful to her because she's a woman. Ever since childhood, she's had a very tomboyish and sassy nature about her, loving to tease and mess with people using her attractive looks to fool others so they don't suspect a sweet and gentle shark like her can also have some bite and then turns around when they least expect and reveals her true self. She is quite mischievous when she sees the chance, though she also has her sweet side she's helped take care for the lesser fortunate and poor around her and care for them at a local shelter, while in Zyuland, she is used to people living in equality and treating one another like brethren. When she came to the human world, she was shocked and rather appalled at how people who were of money and had high amounts of wealth tended to treat poorer and meek like they were helpless and needed protection. This caused her to develop quite the burning spirit in her as it reminded her how people she knows, mainly Leo, treats her like she needs to be protected a lot because she is a girl and makes her want to stand up help the poor and meek as a champion.
Leo/Zyuoh Lion
Description: Leo is a lion zyuman whose father is the leader of the lion tribe of Zyuland. Leo's dad had been one of the most respected lions in zyuland and so Leo strived to try his hardest and be better than him. Leo's dad often talking down on him, thinking he's not ready or tough enough, and viewing him as weak willed and not fit to be king of the jungle. This caused him to have a bitter and uneasy relationship with his harsh old man making him feel the need to prove his strength and courage was real so he began participating in martial arts and wrestling matches, training night and day making his body at the physical limit wanting to become as strong as possible and show his father he's wrong, making him seem rather brash and loud mouthed by others around him as his headstrong and harsh, nature seemed to turn people off But deep down, Leo only wants to be accepted and liked by not only his dad but others. He feels the only way to show that is to demonstrate his abilities, even if he is in over his head. Leo also has a rather protective side to him he doesn't like seeing people being talked down to by others because they don't meet some expectations and feels to get involved and stand up for those too afraid to and try his best to help. Tusk is the only one who's ever really understood what's in Leo's heart, because he saved Tusk from a terrible bully when they were younger, becoming friends.
Tusk/Zyuoh Elephant
Description: Tusk is an elephant zyuman and a highly intellectual and curious person. Tusk had always been driven by one big thirst knowledge; he has a strong desire to know everything there is about the zyuman world and more importantly the human one. He has been fascinated by tales of the world that's parallel to theirs and wished to study more extensively about them and how similar they maybe to zyumans. He has kept libraries of books in his home, often staying in his study for several hours, not coming out. He's rather sheltered as well not being very trusting to most due to a horrible experience he had as a kid that he hasn't told anyone about except his best friend Leo, who even tho they butt heads, he's shown to be understanding to him in some cases when a human appeared in Zyuland. Though, he became curious to learn about Yamato.
Amu/Zyuoh Tiger
Description: Amu had always been considered the heart of Zyuland. While the tigers have a feared reputation of being stern, strict and territorial to those coming to their lands uninvited, Amu had always been friendly, peace loving, and just wants people around her in every tribe to get along. She's got a sweet childlike innocence about her that is curious about those she doesn't know and seeks to understand them in her own playful way. She's considered to be naive by some because of her carefree, joyful nature but that's really to hide the fact she was rather lonesome as a cub. Her parents wouldn't let her go out beyond the tiger tribe snow fields and be with outsiders, seeing them as a danger to their tranquility. This left her with very few friends as she wanted to explore what was to be seen beyond her world and be a part of society.
Misao Mondou/Zyuoh the World
Description: Originally, Misao Mondou was merely a test subject of the Deathgalien's sick game of creating a perfect and flawless artificially made being with DNA samples taken from 3 of the deadliest and vile zyumans, outlawed from their realm due to their sinister and twisted behavior. Each one of these three criminals were hunted down by bounty hunters, hired by master Ginis, bringing back samples of their blood to craft together a ultimate weapon against the Zyuohgers. Using cloning technology, he fused these samples together along with sample of human DNA to create a person, born with the abilities of a crocodile, rhino, and wolf, made to serve as a loyal servant to Ginis against the Zyouhgers to bring them down for good. However, during the process, he awakened early and broke out, he was feral driven by blind rage and severely unstable, prone to violently attacking those around him with his mighty power. He was without reason or mercy, only driven by primal instinct to kill. Before he could escape, he was caught and Ginis trained him personally into honing his abilities and teaching him things, such as speech and knowledge for him about those he was made to fight. He raised him as a surrogate son, giving him lessons on how to become a powerful and feared ruler and to show no mercy against those beneath them, that only those who have power deserve to survive, the weak perish. He grew to hunger for destruction, slaughter enemies before him, and become just as powerful as Ginis. However, inside he was questioning why he feels this way. What makes him so driven by rage inside to fight so much, and what was the Deathgalien's true intentions against the Zyouhgers? He was rather lonesome, feeling like, because he was made artificially, he couldn't be a part of those he saw on Earth. Having friends and enjoying themselves, making him question his devotions, but every time he tries to understand better, a failsafe Ginis programmed into him that compels him to act in his unstable feral way and attack others against his own will. All he really wants is freedom.

Mario Mori
Description: Mario is the uncle and father figure of Yamato Kazariki. As Yamato did not have his father around, Mario did his best to help his sister raise him, and then after the death of Yamato's mother, Yamato moved in him with him. Mario has always, since he was a very young child, held a deep passion for animals. Often going out of his house his parents were in to go into the lush, green jungle in their backyard and spend up to 89 hours analyzing and noting down the behaviors of every creature he saw and become utterly fascinated by each one he saw to an extreme degree. He often felt the most at home away from people and civilization, and wish to go to the wilderness to be with the animals, often viewing them as his friends. He wanted to become a expert on wildlife so spent his education going to many far off countries, learning all he could and tried coming up with methods to understanding animals better trying to create a machine that would allow people to understand how to actually talk with them so they can see they are more than just pets or food to eat, that they are just like us in many ways. He is also a hardcore vegan and is entirely against meat, not liking the idea of killing animals to consume them, Mario is also a very caring and loving uncle to his nephew after his mom passed and father left him. He wanted to give the boy a happy life, knowing personally what it's like to have no family as he had to take care of his sister after the death of his own parents in a horrible plane crash many years ago. He didn't want another child to experience that kind of heartbreak.
Larry
Description: Larry is a gorilla zyuman and previous friend of Bud. While wanting to believe in his friend's idea of peace, Larry remained loyal to zyuland. Though growing curious, he did travel to the human world wanting to see the world Bud had talked about. However, he was not able to return home as two of the champion symbols were stolen. And so, Larry was trapped in the human world and lived in the middle of the forest, not knowing what to do or where to go. Though as the other show up, Larry realizes he isn't alone and that he shouldn't be afraid of humans. Larry, like other gorilla zyumen has massive amounts of physical strength. He also has a high level intellect as he was a scientist and doctor when he lived back in Zyuland.
Bud
Description: Bud is a bird zyuman who, despite being told otherwise, would often travel to the human world and observe them. He saw that they were good and peaceful beings such as them and believed that the humans and zyumans could one day live together in peace. However, he was denied by the council as they thought he was crazy and a traitor to their so called perfect utopia. As a young bird, he was always intrigued by knowledge that existed beyond the world he knew in Zyuland always seeking to go into the human world so he could study and learn what it means to be like a human, never feeling really at home with his kind. He thought their worlds being separated was what prevented both worlds from obtaining perfect unison and harmony. After collecting pieces of information, he would share his research with other Zyumen back in Zyuland, thinking that although they are seen as animals to the humans, they have more in common than previously thought. As he wanted to gain more insight to the humans, Bud continued to travel to their world and would live their using a human disguise so he would go unnoticed amongst them. Wanting to see what being one of them was like. However, during his stay, he fell in love with a human woman who accepted Bud for who he truly was, and someone who truly believed in his goals and wanting for Zyuland and the human world to have peace. The two were happy together as they got to know about each other and the worlds they came from. However, the council had eventually discovered what Bud had done and banished him from ever returning to Zyuland. With no other choice, Bud had to leave the human he loved and lived in isolation and solitude.
Villains
The Deathgalien
Description: The deathgalien are a group of aliens that are brought together by Ginis to play his game of destruction, and so, they go from planet to planet wiping out lifeform on there and then continue on to the next one. They were formed when Ginis, after obtaining all the training and knowledge of controlling and mastering his immense infinite powers, saw that the universe has suffered from too many failures, studying extensively at the origins of each of the villains his 39 powers and body parts belonged to and concluded that everyone was defeated the exact same way time after time. They allowed their own greed and ambition to get the better of them that it caused their own demise in the end, seeing almost all of them as foolhardy pawns in a game of chess for total domination, and that in order for order and balance to be restored everything must be reset to zero with a determined winner of the game. Wiping out and destroying everything there is in this flawed universe in his eyes and remaking it all in his image, and only those who submitted to his will and his ideals of only those who are strong deserve to survive the weak should perish and die with the rest gathering like-minded forces, he founded the deathgaliens.
Ginis
Description: Master Ginis was not born naturally, ever since the falling of the original threat the universe had faced, the Black Cross army. Its remnants have been trying for years now to resurrect and bring back their leader and founder, Black Cross, Fuher, to get revenge and destroy the super sentai who drove them to their broken state, trying to create the perfect body made of raw materials. Genetically grown in a cloning chamber, hidden in the darkest part of the cosmos from DNA of the galaxy's most vile and hated villains and use this body as a vessel to bring back their leader's spirit with a body 1000 times more powerful and deadly than before that not even stars could destroy him. Using a dark ritual to revive him from death, however, this didn't go as planned as when they finally succeeded in crafting an absolutely nightmarish body from body parts and DNA of the absolute worst villains in history and spliced them all together as one indestructible, hellish monstrosity, it all went wrong when performing the dark ritual, a bolt of black, dark lightning struck the temple they created him in and gave Ginis life of his own born with the knowledge and destructive powers of all 39 previous villains in super sentai history. He quickly destroyed his creators in a fiery display of his might and killed every last one for only making him to be a puppet for their leader to use after slaying them all. He then chose to learn as much as he possibly could about this world he was thrust into and began a reign of utter chaos, they wanted to make the weapon who could bring the galaxy as we know it to an end ...and they had succeeded.
Naria
Description: Just like her master Ginis, Naria also crafted out of DNA and parts from the most feared and reviled generals serving under many of the universe's most hated monsters from the past. After learning all he needed to hone and obtain total mastery over his powers, Ginis used his own technology to create an apprentice for him to pass his knowledge onto and inherit his empire once his plans succeeded in his gambit for total domination. Deeming everyone else he came across as weak willed and to likely to fall like most in the past did. He wanted to craft a perfect apprentice without any faults and loyal only to him and it seems like he has. Naria is absolutely ruthless and cunning as her creator was, but she is even more manipulative and controlling choosing to hide out in the shadows. Masking her true self under disguise of life-forms she sees and takes on their appearance and copy's their mannerisms to the letter. Serving as an infiltration agent to quietly sneak into the governing bodies of the world's governing powers and spread seeds of corruption and chaos, little by little to drive the worlds into a state of civil unrest until there is utter rioting and no order at all. So that when her master arrives. They will be entirely defenseless, fighting among themselves to fight off being completely obliterated by the deathgaliens being too late. She enjoys seeing the people who are confident and hold high power fall in flames by their own greed and die at her feet. She has been called the curse of the galaxy. Any world she lands on ends up in her master's grip in meer minutes due to her controlling, manipulative nature. However, Ginis may have made her too good as she while acting loyal to her lord, secretly is planning waiting for the correct moment to usurp his rule and take over and rule by herself.
Azald
Description: Azald is a general in Master Ginis' empire. He is a being and fighter of rare and destructive power and an indestructible body that can even equal Ginis himself, making it difficult for anyone to beat. He has gone throughout multiple worlds and and had been able to slay multiple opponents with little efforts. For his raw power, Azald was often bored, continuously looking for someone that could be his rival and proove to be a match for his strength. And so, Ginis promised him to a worthy challenge if he joined him. Azald, at first was reluctant to become the lacky of some random guy at first, so he challenged Ginis to a duel between him and Ginis, and if he could manage to beat him fairly and prove his power he would join him after a harsh and very critical fight between them both. Ginis finally got the upper hand and smashed a hole through his body, crippling him severely. Defeated, Azald agreed to fight for him, but only if it meant he could become strong enough to defeat him. Himself not wanting to accept the idea of some chump, he just met beating him one on one.
Quval
Description: Quval is a monstrous drug dealer and mafia boss in the far future year of 3000, having millions of corrupt officials and politicians in the government on his payroll. He is the most dangerous and high profile criminal that not even the timerangers have been able to bring down due to his illusive and hidden ways. He never reveals his true face to the public only metallic dome shaped cybernetic mask, concealing his true identity. He is in actuality the first cousin of the timerangers greatest enemy Gien. He grew up on the streets with his cousin forming a brotherly bond with him they had no parents and were forgotten by the richer populace so they depended on one another night and day for survival only knowing they were related by a DNA test they were subjected to. He was always a very harsh and cruel child not having anyone, but Gien and treated like trash by people around him who saw his disfigured face as a freak. He grew to act very cold and uncaring towards those around him. However, he was also highly intellligent from an early age he had mastery over advanced math, robotics, quantum mechanics, and more that were far passed what normal children of his age knew. Because of this, he would often use his intelect to help Gein by inventing devises to keep them nurished and healthy, using makeshift parts stolen from factories to create them. Eventually, ending upon organized crime, using his mind to construct highly advanced weaponry drugs and more so he could sell off on the black market to make money, however, after learning of Gien's death, in the year 2000, he now has gone back in time seeking to avenge the man who was his whole family.
Bangray
Description: A Skillful manipulator and cunning suave man Bangray is considered by all who he meets as the worst man you could ever fear to come across if you're on his hit list he's a trained and deadly assassin for hire who gets inside of his targets own mind by spying on their personal lives using false aliases to get involved with them under a false pretense that he is a trusted friend he observes and monitors everything about who they are what their interests are in and what their biggest fears and doubts are so when he moments right he then strikes and takes down everyone close to them and murders everyone so they are left all alone and broken waiting for death to arrive to end their misery.
Moebas
Description: Before Ginis's body was completed by the black cross army's remnants they made several attempts to bring their leader back using hundreds of test subjects. But, they resulted in mutated mindless monstrosities that only craved violence being feral in nature, tearing and beating their enemies till death. Ginis discovered these unholy lifeforms and saw twisted potential in them, so, using the advanced science at his disposal along with his genius intellect. He made a serum formula to mass produce hundreds of these savage creatures and train them into a dreaded force to be reckoned with that made all who stood in their way, tremble they are relentless willing to hound down their target and beat them into submission. They are massive units sent out in squads.
