Finn and Rachel probably couldn't despise each other more is they tried. Rachel was dating Puck and Finn is dating Quinn, Rachel and Quinn are best friends and Puck and Finn are best friends so they hang out a lot but every time Finn and Rachel see each other they greet by saying something along the lines of...
"Why hello hobbit you are looking awfully ugly today"
"And hello to you to Lurch and you are looking quite repulsive as always"
And every time Puck and Quinn had the agree to try and work out their differences they just end up in a loud, sarcastic mess.
But sometimes things change.
And all it takes is one drunken night (at a glee club party thrown by Puck) full of surprises and one sober pair of eyes to change their ways of thinking.
