Her heart was frozen from the pain of her past. She tried to escape the feelings that haunted her but they always caught her
one way or another. She looked at the mirror and let her brown wavy hair fall to her shoulders. L knew the person staring back at
her was losing a fight that few have ever won. "I just want them gone", She whispered to herself while she brushed back her hair. L
then walked over to the open window and stood on the balcony watching the snow blanket the city in an innocent white layer. As she
stood there a few drops of blood dripped from her wrist onto her hands and down to the snow below erasing any innocence that it had.
She put her right hand over her wrist from the cut she had made and healed it only wishing she could do the same to her heart.
The next morning L woke up and put on her usual outfit of black small heels, black leggings, a red skirt, and a white button
up shirt with a small red sweater. She put her hair up in a high ponytail and a few heart pins to keep her bangs out of her face and
she walked down the stairs to face the outside world again."I'm sick of waking up to an empty house", she sighed as she grabbed her
small messenger bag and walked out of the door. The sky seemed darker then usual that day as she walked down the street trying to
sort the thoughts out in her head. L was trying to understand what went wrong why things went the way they did, "How do those
feelings just disappear? and why can't mine do the same?" she thought to herself. This wasn't L's first heart break she's been hurt
before and she was usually able to move on but something about this person resonated in her soul vibrating back and forth becoming
stronger and stronger.
She stopped at her destination, a shadow created from a cloud above. She looked down at it and tapped it with her fingers and
suddenly the shadow became a hole and she jumped in. L landed on the ground with her heels firmly on the ground and looked around
seeing only darkness. Then She raised her right hand and emitted a low light looking for somewhere to light up the dark hole. She saw
the pedestal she was looking for and made a dash for it, but as she made her way to it a monster got in her way. It snarled and
looked at her with wild glowing blue eyes and watched her waiting to make it's move. "Damn, I was hoping this wouldn't be a tough
day. I am really not in the mood", she said to the monster and smiled. She created a ball of light that lit up the area and tossed it
into the air then L took the pin out of her hair and cut her wrist, the ball of light then faded. She pulled blood out of her wrist
into her left hand molding it into a scythe and hardening it. The monster jumped at L coming down with it's mouth wide open showing
it's razor sharp teeth ready to sink into L's skin. L quickly healed her wrist and braced herself for the monsters impact. The
monsters teeth clashed with her scythe creating a spark and in that moment L liquefied the scythe and made it wrap around the
monsters head and tightened it making the monster's head cut in half spraying blood all over L. She smirked and whispered, "These
Kobold are really getting annoying lately" as she made her way to the pedestal and lit it.
