Change

Quinn walked towards the hospital room. He had changed a lot since he had met Rashel. Before he was as cold as ice, he cared for no one. The only person he looked out for was himself. He had been known for being lethal, almost like the devil. No one dared to side step him otherwise they would die slowly and very painfully. He never thought that his life would change ever. That was until he met the girl who couldn't kill him.
Rashel smiled as she held her new born daughter against her. She had never thought that she would find her soulmate, let along it being a vampire. She had always hated vampires when she was younger. Hunter Redfern had destroyed her family. She had hunted them for years until she had met her soulmate. Then everything had changed. Rashel's soulmate had brought happiness back into her life. Quinn opened the door and walked in. he smiled when he saw Rashel nursing her eight hour old daughter. He had been back home to get some baby stuff that he had forgotten to pick up when he had rushed Rashel into the hospital. And that was his excuse. Rashel smiled up at her soulmate as he put the bag he'd forgotten onto the chair. Then he walked over to the bed, planting a kiss on both the tops of his wife's and new born daughter's head.
"Look daddy's here," Rashel smiled, buttoning up her night gown. Quinn smiled. He was going to have to get used to being called dad but he would get used to that change for his family.
