A long time ago, when the world was very young and Gods and Goddess ruled, two young princesses were born. The Princess of the Day, named for her great white magic, and the Princess of the Night, who rivaled her other in her dark magic. As the two princesses grew up, on very different values, they both grew to be very powerful, and would one day rule over all.
It was because of her position, that the Princess of the Day's father; The King of All, put his four best knights in charge of protecting her. To most others the four young males were known as the Elementals, for each knight represented one of the four elemental states. Fire, Earth, Water and Sky.
As the Princess and her knight grew, a love triangle formed, but one that nobody expected. When it became apparent to the Princess that the object of her affections, Sky was in love with Earth, and vise versa, she banished the young Earthian warrior from her domain in hopes that Sky would turn to her for love.
For many a night Earth traveled, hiding during the day so as not of be seen by the vengeful Princess, And it wasn't long until he meet the other powerful Princess, the Princess of the Night.
After hearing of the torn apart lovers and the hardships that the knight went though just to get to her land, the Princess of the Night offered to help to the distressed soul. She knew that she could do nothing to help lift the banishment, but she could offer the worn and weary warrior, who was weak from lack of sunlight, rest for 10 thousand years. An offer that he gladly took, if only to rest his body, but never for defeat.
Once Sky heard of the future of his lover, he fell into deep depression and started to waste away.
Fire and Water, hearing both tales of their comrades and missing the other 2 warriors, traveled to the Princess of the Night's land. Once there they asked if she could allow them and the dying Sky to sleep for a thousand years, hoping that when they woke again, Sky could once again be reunited with his lover.
She granted their wish, and just as when Earth fell into his deep sleep, their elements created a safe haven for their defenseless bodies, awaiting the day for when the warriors would wake again.
This was only the prologue, and I'm writing the next chapter now, about ΒΌ through it so far I'll try and post it as soon as I can. Don't know how long it will take for updates, my time is not my own. If anyone found spelling mistakes or any of that stuff and would like to beta, just mail, I'll most likely say yes.
