McWizard's

A new restaurant has been created in Hogsmeade. A parody of McDonald's and Harry Potter.

For all the witches and wizards on the go, this is the place for the best fast food. Conveniently located in the heart of Hogsmeade and looking to expand to Diagon Alley, McWizard's features a 'Fly-Thru,' and both indoor and outdoor seating.

"Wow," said Ron as the trio looked upon the newest addition to Hogsmeade.

"This will certainly make things interesting," said Harry.

"Oh, honestly, it's just a restaurant," said Hermione, rolling her eyes. "And it's almost exactly like the Muggles' McDonald's, only you can't drive to this restaurant."

"Who cares if they're copying off the Muggles?" asked Ron. "Let's go in."

"What? So you can stuff your face?" muttered Hermione, but following the boys all the same.

On the outside, the restaurant looked pretty brilliant, but that was nothing compared to the inside.

Several fireplaces were along one side, as well as a roped-off area that looked to be for Apparition. Tables were scattered around, some with towels wiping them down and the chairs adjusting themselves. Off in a corner, a mop cleaned up a spill, and tiny witches and wizards were squealing in delight as they played in an area especially for them. Signs everywhere declared 'Now Open' and some with various foods on them. 'Try the Cauldron Punch!' or 'Check out our wide variety of Muggle products!' were just a few of them.

"Oh, Muggle food!" Ron exclaimed.

"Ron, that stuff's just junk. It's not the least bit healthy and who knows what they're using to make it," said Hermione.

"But it looks so good!" protested Ron. "Come on, Harry, let's go try some!"

"Yes, let's!" agreed Harry.

They eagerly got into line, with Hermione following unwillingly.

When they approached the counter, Hermione said, "Look, they have salads. Nice, healthy salads."

"No, I think I'd rather try the… what's that thing? A Big Mac? Yeah, a Big Mac!" said Ron.

"And I'll get a… Quarter Pounder," decided Harry.

"Anything for you, Hermione?" asked Ron.

"No," said Hermione primly.

They received their food quickly and found seats near a window.

Ron took a big bite of his Big Mac and moaned indecently.

"That's absolutely disgusting," said Hermione.

"No, it's good," said Harry as he took a bite of his sandwich.

Hermione huffed and stood up. "I'm not going to stay here and watch you two eat like pigs. I'll be in The Three Broomsticks when you finally get your senses back, well, any you might have had. That junk will probably melt your brains or something."

"Suit yourself," said Ron around another mouthful of burger. "Ready for another round, Harry?"

"You bet," said Harry, pushing away his empty box.

Several of the monster burgers later, Harry and Ron were finally full. They left the restaurant with plans to return next Hogsmeade trip, and maybe even try out the Fly-Thru.

"Don't worry," Harry reassured Ron as they headed back up to the castle. "She'll come around. No one can resist the call of fast-food."
