Fenrir hissed as the boy kicked him, eyes screwed shut in pain. He heard the telltale crack, and a jolt of agony shot through his ribs.
A laugh echoed above him. "Let's go." He peeked out from behind his arm and watched as the boys left.
He growled, baring his teeth in a feral gesture. The moon shone down on him, a single beam of silver light. If only it was a full moon…
He might be humiliated now, but he would get his revenge soon. When the full moon came… oh, those boys were in for a surprise.
Fenrir glanced at the moon again, wishing desperately that it could be the full moon. His heart was throbbing with the desire to humiliate those boys, just as they had done to him.
"Just wait," he whispered. "I'm coming for you."
