AN: This little thing just popped into my head while in class earlier. It's not much right now but I do have ideas if people want me to continue it. If not, that's cool, too.

I stand staring into the dark eyes, knowing that this is the end for me. The fear flows like ice water through my veins, freezing me, and that's when it happens.

He latches onto my jugular and, after a few moments, I start to fade into the darkness. Blood is being drained painfully slow from my body, and I start to go limp.

It wasn't even a good fight, more like a newly risen vamp looking for its first meal. I was caught off guard and am now paying the price.

As I slip further and further into the darkness, I can't help but let my mind wander. The first place it roams is to the blonde that has made my life hell. Hell in both the best and worst kind of ways.

Too bad I'll never get to see her again. It's just my luck, though. I come to her town to pass along a message and get killed along the way.

I've almost given in completely to that darkness when the mouth and piercing teeth are suddenly gone from my throat. As I fall to the ground, too weak to keep myself upright, I see a glimpse of golden hair and only one thought crosses my mind before there is nothing.

I'm in heaven.
