Hey guys! So *Spoiler* I'm on the part where Alex is going to die. I can't stand it, so this is in honor of him! *End* I don't remember everything, so forgive me if I mess up a quote, or get some things wrong.
Lara
A famous explorer once said, "The extraordinary is in what we do, not who we are." I finally set out to make my mark, to find adventure, but instead adventure found me.
~.~
BOOM! I pull the earphones out of my ears and look up for the source of the sound. BOOM! I cry out as I am flown off the bed and tossed on the ground. Red lights beat with blaring warning noises. I cover my ears as I head through the open door. I barely see the water as it crashes towards me. I put my hand up.
"Ah!" It floods pushing me back.
In our darkest moments...
I'm tossed to and fro, spinning everywhere. I don't know where I am, and I need to breath! I'm thrashed against objects until I finally managed to pull up and gasp for breath. I pull up the ladder, not thinking, just moving where I can. Get out! Get out!
"Help!" I scream, frantically beating hard.
When life flashes before us...
It's no use.
Slowly the world goes black, and bubbles rise from my last breath out. Which may be my very last. I feel myself sink down before I am welcomed by the cool, black water.
We find something: something that keeps us going...
I gasp again for breath. I'm alive. I breath heavily grasping what just happened...I don't know how long ago. Rain beats down heavily being pushed to falling at a side angle instead of down by the heavy wind. I have my knees and hands on the floor, my hair flowing frantically around my face. And I see it, the other half of the Endurance.
The other half.
Something that pushes us.
I stare in shock for a moment, trying to figure out how the monster ship could be torn in half, when I see Roth. He waves his hand toward me. I look down, reading myself for what I'm about to do.
I stumble as the ship rocks in the ocean waves, pushing off the sides to keep balance. I yell in effort as I jump, my arms and legs flaring for momentum. I forget all thoughts. I drop them with my emotions for a moment to make myself lighter, so that I can make it. Roth grabs hold of my hand, but I feel it slipping.
"Roth!" I cry.
My breath is short and heavy. My hand slips. I see Roth try to reach out and grab my hand, holding his hand on a pole to keep himself aboard. Roth screams out.
It's like I fall in slow motion, all of it happening so slow. I twist my arms and legs, only looking at Roth's face. And then it goes fast, and I'm crashing back first into the water. I sink, my mind sinking also, before I push myself up for air.
The waves crash against me and throw me about, and I gasp every second. I wave my arms trying to swim, though the waves push against me. I'm pushed under, but when I come back up, I faintly spot the shore. I'm sore and I feel terrible. But I don't stop. I'm close enough that I can stand and I push myself. I manage to limp onto the beach.
I don't feel like I can get enough air. I choke out the water, coughing. Then I hear Reyes' voice above me. I push myself up on my arm, not daring to walk. Please hear me! Please hear me!
"Hello!?" I yell.
I can hear them talking frantically, trying to help the people who are injured. I need help, please! I feel weak, I can't get up to walk. "Reyes! Jonah!" I yell, trying to get them to hear. I cough.
"I'm here!" They don't seem to hear. So I push myself off the ground. You'll be okay. I look around, how can I get up?
Then something hard, beats on my back. Before I can even react, the world swirls black.

Alex
I know I'm suppose to be helping people, but something's bothering me. Big time. I looked over to Reyes, Jonah, Sam, and Roth. My best bet is probably with Roth. I know he caught her, and she slipped. So he'll wanna find her. Reyes won't care. Sam and Jonah don't have much authority, and Jonah would say to wait. That she'll come. But what if she's dead? I just need to find her.
I walk away from the others and up to Roth. "Roth?"
Roth glances up, but doesn't smile like he normally would. He's close to Lara, and he cares about the crew.
"Yes boy?" He asks. I'm not a boy, just because I like games and stuff. Men like to play games. I don't hold the grudge for long though, and I walk closer so I can whisper.
"Have you seen Lara?" I ask.
I notice the change is his face, something like guilt. And I feel bad, but not bad enough. This is what I was hoping for. Now I just need to ask, and he'll be okay with it, because he feels so bad.
"No lad, not since..." He trails off, but I know what he's talking about. Since she fell in. I remember running up behind him, just after she fell.
"Where's Lara!?" I had yelled over the rain.
Roth had closed his eyes and anger flashed his face, but he had been worried. Then he pointed to the water.
I ran to the edge. "C'mon Lara. Come up." I muttered, hoping she'd emerge and be alive. And she did, but she had been thrown around by the waves. I felt so useless sitting there. But if I had gone in after her, I wouldn't have really helped. Roth had started to go, and had me go to. And I had tried to talk to Lara, send her a message. It wouldn't work of course.
Fight Lara, because if you do, you can make it. I know you...And I had been thinking about it since then.
"Can I go look for her. I wanna see if she made it, and you know Lara. You know she did." I urge him to say yes.
Roth sighs and thinks. Finally he says, "'kay boy, be careful. Search the shorelines."
I smiled and sneak my way past everyone, going down to the shoreline. I search a full ten minutes before I make it to somewhere that suggest Lara was there. The sand is mushed up from someone stepping on it. Or something like that. But there are more footprints that suggest Lara wasn't alone...
"Ah!" I cry falling to the floor. I barley see the figure of a man before I am hit again and the world goes black.

Lara
When I wake up I feel horrible. I ache badly...where am I? I can't seem to figure out where I am. I hear water dripping lightly, and I feel the ground move beneath me. But not like I'm walking. I don't recognize it and I'm so sleepy. I groan over the pain...then I fall into sleep...
~.~
I hear creaking of rope. And the pain, I groan again. All the blood's falling to my head. And I see the floor and what looks like my shadow. It looks weird...like circlish. What's happening? I see red candles...candles? And something that looks horrible. But I can't tell what it is. So tired. I see a fire and skulls. But I'm too sleepy. To sleepy to think. I breath deeply before I can sleep.
~.~
"Uh!" I gasp, getting air. I don't feel tired. But I can't think all blood's in my head. I'm hanging from the ceiling! And I can't move! I look around. My ponytail feels like it's weighting down my head.
"Help!" I yell. "Jonah?" Is anyone here?
"Reyes?" I yell, starting to swing.
"Help!" I gain momentum as I swing, and swing farther each time. Got to get down. As I swing, I hit something next to me. I'm not quiet sure what it is, and I don't want to ponder on it. I hit it and it catches fire, falling.
It sets a wooden pole next to me on fire. This is going to hurt. I can't believe I'm going to do this. I swing towards it and back. Finally I get close enough, and it sets the cloth around me on fire.
I cry. It's so hot, and it burns. Then it burns though the cloth and I'm falling. When I hit the ground I fell extreme pain.
"Oh no." I plea looking down. I'll try best I can not to make it hurt so much. I inch it out slowly, then pull. My vision blackens almost all the way. "Oh!" I collapse on the ground, breathing hard. I can hear my heartbeat. I need to get out of here! I push myself up, cupping my hand by over the wound in my side.
I cough and walk forward. I try to walk quick. I need to get out! I collapse again, crying out. Where is everyone? Where am I? With every move the edge of my vision darkens. I stumble forward when I see what's in the next room, holding onto a box next to me.
"Oh please no...no, no." I mutter. "What is this place?"
I recognize the person as I walk up. Steph. "What happened to you?"
I continue forward. I need to get out. I need to get out. I can't be here any longer. I see fire and grab a piece of wood, setting it on fire. A torch. As I make my way forward, I aside some glass and metal, and it clinks loudly together.
"That was loud." I cringe, hoping the horrible people here didn't hear it.
I barley hear voice. Oh please, don't hear it. And if you did, it's just a mouse. I spot some wood and cloth blocking my way. All flammable, so I set it on fire. I back up so I don't get burned. I walk through. I hope this is the way out, and I'm not just walking father in. But I forget about it. I can't think like that. This is the way out. I keep the torch tight in one hand, and in the other, I hold my hand to my side. It still hurts, but not as much. It feels like a burning. I ignore it. Need to get out.
I hear shuffling and footsteps. "Oh no...he must have heard me..." As I get close, I see a small space. It's the only way out. I bend down, and shift to make it through. Water trickles down and my torch goes out. Oh no.
As I enter the room, I see a figure laying on the floor. "Lara?" It asks groggily. I gulp.
"Whose there?" I ask suspiciously, not moving. The figure stands up, cringing. "Lara...it's Alex." He breaths.
I have the wood still, and I light it walking up to the figure. As I grow closer I see his messing brown hair, glasses, and well..him. I still hold the torch, and a hand to my side.
"Alex." I breath in belief. I almost run up and hug him...almost.
"Alex we have to get out now. I'll answer questions later. We need to get out." I say frantically. He nods in understanding.
As I move about the room, thing crash making loud noises. I pull myself up onto a platform higher. As I get up, I see cloth wrapped around a pole. I reach my arm out and set it on fire, backing up. Alex stands a couple feet below me, watching.
The fire spreads and makes it to the stuff blocking our way out. I see the gasoline tank before Alex, and pull him down as it explodes. He gets up, eyes wide at how I show no reaction. There is no time to react! We have to go. I make my way, noticing the water on the ground. Before jumping and pulling myself up. I reach my arm down for Alex, and he takes it, pulling himself up.
I gesture for Alex to go first, and he kneels down and goes under the rock. I go after him. Something pulls on my leg, knocking me off balance. The torch flies forward, and Alex turns around.
"Let go!" I yell at him. I frantically grab at the ground, but he has the advantage and pulls me father back. I twist around. Using one arm to push myself up and twist my legs.
"Get off me!" I continue to twist my legs out of his grasp. "Stop struggling!" He yells.
I get enough momentum that he lets go some, and I manage to kick him back. I scramble to get on the other side of the rock and I do just before it collapses, and he can't get me anymore.
"Lara-" Alex starts but I cut him off. "Alex, we have to keep moving. That was proof." Alex stops talking and nods.
"Come back! Come back!" He yells. Why would I go back?!
Alex grabs my arms and helps me up. "I'm trying to help you!" The man continues to yell. "Come on! I'm just trying to help you!"
"That was close." I breath, Alex walks behind me. "That was close." I repeat.
I kneel down, going first, Alex lagging behind. "Come on. Come..." Water creeps up to my ankles, but I don't care.
"Come back!" Why won't he give up. "Come on!"
I breath, holding the torch up high and moving out of the way of a couple of poles. "Just keep moving." I say, more to myself than Alex. "Come...just come back!"
When I get in the water I gasp in surprise. The water goes up to the top of my neck, I hold the torch way above it. "I'm just trying to help you! Come on!" I frantically move, desperate to get out of the water. My head splashes under, and I pull myself up. Alex is taller, so he isn't falling under as much.
I slide my hand over the wall to help guide me, it's hard to see over the water. I finally get myself out of the little cave, and clasp my hand to the wound. The dirty water makes it sting.
I continue to walk and I see the water in front of me. I look over to Alex. "The torch is going to go out when I walk through the water." I inform. Alex nods. As I get closer the water come up to my waist. And though I knew it was going to happen, when I walk through I angrily say. "Not again!"
The water stays to my waist, and I keep the unlit torch in my hand. Just in case. I walk over and see what's blocking our way out. More flammable items. I need to set them on fire...but how?
"The tide...Need to find a way out." I mutter.
Alex walks through the water, and under a waterfall. "Lara! Over here!"
I wad over to where Alex is, he hold out his hand to help me up I don't take it though. "Here." He says.
I see the fire and light my torch. "More fire. Thank goodness."
I observe what's around us. I could do this on my own, Alex needs to just stay here. Planks of wood run along the edge of the walls, so I can make it around the water. I can get to the wreckage because a waterfall will put out my fire. The planks run along the walls. There is a crate with wreckage in it, tied to some flammable objects. If I set it one fire, maybe I can get it in the cage that is across from it. Set the wreckage on fire and hit the cage, it will go down the ramp and not be unlit. Making it to the barrier and setting it on fire. Then we can get out.
I walk over and set the two staffs on fire, and it moves up. Another crate moves down, the one full of the objects I need to get in the crate tat is twelve feet higher than it. I walk along the planks, getting higher.
"What kind of contraption is this?" I ask.
"Lara..." Alex warns, I look down. "I know what I'm doing Alex."
He quiets and waits. I jump onto the crate in the air. My weight weighs down the one crate, rising the one with the wreckage into the crate attached to the wall. I almost yell yes, but hold back. I jump back onto the planks.
"All this stuff's washing in with the tide."
As I walk up, I set the wreckage on fire. Then I use my should to hit the crate, send the lit wreckage down the ramp and setting the barricade on fire. It clears our way. I jump down and grab Alex, pulling us behind a piece of plank as the barricade explodes, shaking the whole place.
"We've got to get out of here!" I yell.
Together we start to run, having a hard time getting through the water. Also, it's hard when my side aches, so I put my hand to help it. Stuff around me collapses and falls. I finally make it onto land and dash. Rocks around me crumble as me and Alex run. Then I step on an unsteady piece of rock, and it collapses down.
I'm send flying down. "Lara!" Alex yells, and I hear him jump after me. I spin and use my hand to slid and avoid hitting wreckage. I grunt with effort. And then I stumble through a barricade. I stumble but push myself up. Got to get out!
"Come on Alex!" I yell, hoping he's behind me. Footsteps say he is.
I run and as I getting closer, I see that the next pieces of land aren't connected. We're going to have to jump. The cavern shakes and groans, rocks dalling everywhere.
"Jump!" I yell, jumping. I grab onto the edge and pull myself up. Alex comes behind me. I jump twice more, and Alex jumps successfully. Good, he's still there. I notice parts of ship as I run. And as we get closer, a another rock. I stay behind and Alex catches up.
"Go!" I yell and he crawls under the rock.
I start to crawl when it happens again. I hear him before I see him. "Run Alex!" I yell. He can't stay behind. The man grabs my legs.
"Let go!" I yell once more. "Help you!" He yells. The rock starts to fall.
I see my chance and kick him in the face. He stumbles forward to grab me, but I'm up and running. Alex waited for me. The walls start to crush in on us, and I don't have time to think about it. I jump and the torch flies out of my hand. It falls and I pull myself up. I have to I start to scramble up the wall after Alex. Seeing the light of the way out. I look up and see a rock fly down. Alex is ahead of me, so it misses him. I pull myself to the side and I miss it.
Then we start to scramble again. I desperate pull myself. Please! Please! Another rock flies down and I move out of the way just in time. I see it! It's getting closer. I wheeze in breaths. And a rock starts to crush down on it. Alex pulls himself out, and helps me. As I crawl out dirt flies from the rock crushing the ground.
I lay my head on the ground and sigh in relief. I take deep breaths. The wind blows coolly on us. I look up and push myself off the ground. I lean hunched over, hand clasped at my stomach. I stumble and fall, and Alex helps me up. I go close to the edge, looking out. I see parts of ships, planes, and the ocean. Crashing hard against rocks.
I'm alive.
