Who Stole The Cookies From The Cookie Jar?
"SMARTI!"
"Yes, Smerek?"
"Smarti, did you eat all the cookies Nora just baked?" Derek questioned as he looked down at the cookie tray that was empty save for a few crumbs.
Marti shook her head vigorously, "No Smerek."
"Then can you tell me how an entire tray of cookies can just vanish?" Derek put his hands on his hips.
"I don't know Smerek," Marti responded innocently.
Derek couldn't help but smile as he leaned down and wiped the cookie crumbs off her shirt, "If you want to be convincing, next time you should make sure to wipe off the evidence."
