I could leave and give her the cold shoulder which would open the door to many more problems. I could make up a new girlfriend to make her jealous.
I could say I saw a girl I used to go to school with at a cafe. That could work expect Beckett could just look up her name. Oh no this plan will never work.
Mia I could call Mia we used to hang out when her dad was dating my mom but stopped after they broke up. I wouldn't actually date Mia I would just pretend.
"Can't you just tell her how you feel?" Mia said confused on the phone.
"Mia you don't understand what it's like between me and her."
"Wouldn't it be a bit weird us dating?"
"Were not actually going to date,You could show up sometimes to make her jealous."
"What happens if your plan backfires?"
"I don't know,but please Mia please."

"Hey." I said a coffee on Beckett's desk.
"Hey you missed the body this morning?" Beckett said to me.
"Yeah I was having breakfast with Mia."
"Mia?" Beckett asked panicked.
"Yeah she's a woman I'm seeing that I knew from high school."
I could tell that she was trying not to cry and felt like someone had stabbed her in the heart but it would all be over soon.
"Are you okay?" I asked knowing the answer.
"Yeah I'm fine,Castle it's great that you have someone in your life it's not like your mine or anything."
"Good so fill me in on the case." I said sitting down in my chair.

"Ready?" I asked Mia on the phone.
"I can't believe I'm doing this." Mia said rolling her eyes. "And yes."
The lift dinged and Mia walked out she was dressed for a fake date.
Kate had gone to the break room to get more coffee when she heard a females voice calling out for her Castle I mean Mia's Castle.
She listened and peeked behind the wall. Mia was medium height,dark brown curly hair and had a black dress on.
"There's my girl." Rick said with smile talk about a stab in the heart. I felt the tears building up in my eye.
Mia kissed his cheek and then they walked to the lift hand in hand. I opened up the break room door sat at the table and started to cry.
I was going to tell him I loved him today but he had moved on.

I tried to sleep that night but all I could think of was Mia's hands on Ricks body and them rolling around in the sheets.
I tried to think of other things but I could think was somewhere in New York the man she loved was making love to another woman who wasn't her.

The next morning me and Castle were looking at the murder board till Mia walked up.
"Mia." Rick said sounding surprised to see her. He wrapped an arm around her waist.
"I thought I would bring my man some lunch." Mia said giving me a look of his mine you missed out.
"Thank you sweetie." He kissed her cheek.
"Sorry I would have brought you something but I wasn't sure if you were going to be here."
"I'm always going to be here." Kate snapped folding her arms. "Always." She said again winking at Rick.
"Well I'm going to go but I'll see you tonight." Mia said to Rick,
"Sure will."
"I even brought a little something just for you." Mia said whispering in his ear and then kissing him which took me by surprise since we only said kissing on cheek.

Later on I called Mia.
"Ricky." She said over the phone.
"What's going on Mia?"
"I want you why does she get to have you I want you to be mine you've gotten so much sexier then you were in high school I always had a big crush on you but our parents were dating so we couldn't date but know you can be mine, I could be the third Mrs Castle."
I hanged up the phone feeling a bit weirdered out.

"Have you seen where Rick is?" Mia asked Kate the next morning walking up to her desk.
"No."
"Oh It's just that he left last night before I could tell him about the baby."
"Baby? Your pregnant?" I asked.
"Yes isn't it great I'm having Richard Castles baby."
"Mia?" I said shocked.
"Hey baby you left before I could tell you that your going to be a daddy again." Mia walked towards me.
"Mia you're not pregnant cause we haven't had sex, okay cause were not really dating have your forgot that?"
"Castle what's going on?" Kate asked me.
"Kate I'm not really dating Mia,I was only pretending to make you jealous."
"Haha baby you and your stories sometimes." Mia laughed.
"I'm not your baby Mia." I told her.
"Rick baby your tired when your tired your snappy we can talk later." Mia kissed my cheek.

Mia called Beckett to tell her that Castle was died but he wasn't really she just wanted to trap her. Beckett and her team arrived where Mia said Ricks body was.
Lanie came over and told them it was just a mannequin. Kate was relived then everything went black.

Mia has shot Kate hoping to kill her but she ended up alive. Rick rushed to the hospital and Espo and Ryan put Mia in a cell.
When I saw Kate awake in her hospital bed I walked over to her and kissed her forehead.
"I'm so sorry." I told her.
"I'll be fine Castle I should have told you my feelings sooner."
"We both should have."
"Do you still want me?" Kate asked,
"Only if you want me?"
"Yes." Kate answered.
I smiled as our lips got closer and then are lips touched I could feel her fingers running through my hair.
