"Look at her. Isn't she sweet?" Mommy said, cuddling me.

I smiled back at mommy, and then looked around. We were in the living room. Daddy was reading a book and my mommy was playing with me. Then she picked me up and twirled me around, and I laughed.

"It's time to go to the park. It's a nice day out." Mommy said, when she stopped turning. I looked out the window and smiled. I always liked looking out the window, there's always so much to see.

So we went to the park.

"Go on, have fun!" Mommy said, and put me down.

I always liked going to the park. It was amazingly big, and there were pretty flowers everywhere. I started running.

"Look at her go! She's running so fast, she could fall at any moment." I heard daddy say.

"Our little girl is growing so fast! I can't believe she's already 3 years old!" replied mom.

I crouched down and started picking flowers. A yellow one, a green one, a purple one, a… BALL! Suddenly out of nowhere, a ball hit me. I fell on my bum and started crying, but then I saw a boy run up to me.

"I'm sorry!" He said. He stopped right in front of me and gave me his hand. I stopped crying and looked at him. He was much bigger than me but he was also a child. He was probably 5 or 6 years older than me.

I took his hand and he pulled me up. "Are you ok?" He asked.

I nodded and he smiled at me. "What's your name?" He inquired.

I hesitated before answering, brining my hand up to my mouth."Repunzel" I mumbled.

"Mine is Eu- I mean Flynn! Nice to meet you." He bent down to take the ball then left, waving good-bye to me. I watched him go then, when he was out of sight, returned to my parents with my squished flowers and gave it to them.

Mommy took them. "Thank you!" She said. "So, you made a new friend? What's his name?"

"Flynn" I replied.

"That's nice, maybe next time we go to the park you can play with him." Mommy said.

I shrugged. But interiorly I hoped so.
