After the group escaped Terminus, thanks to the help of walkers invading the place they were on the road again. Daryl hasn't been himself since Beth went missing. He blames himself for her being kidnapped. If only he wouldn't have opened the door or if only he had gotten to her sooner. So many things ran through his mind. Like why he didn't kiss her when she figured out that she is the one who changed him, or where she was and who took her? Rick has been going with Daryl to look for Beth. It's been weeks since he has seen her beautiful blue eyes. He missed her so much, she was the light he needed in his life.
One day Rick and Daryl came across this old abandoned house and Daryl had notice the car in the driveway. He recognized it as the car that took Beth. Daryl walks up to the car and peeks through the window, nothing."Rick, let's go inside." He said. "I'm right behind you." Rick replied. Daryl opens the door with his crossbow loaded and ready to shoot. Rick and Daryl clear out each room until there is only one left. The door was bolted shut. Daryl got a crowbar and broke the bolted latch. Daryl slowly walking in the room while Rick kept watch. The room was old and dusty. Nothing was in sight. He check everywhere and still no Beth. He was disappointed and upset. Maybe she was really gone for good. He sat on the bed as his head hung low. Where could she be? He thought. Just as he was about to get up Rick appeared in the door. A Voice filled the house. Sounded like a man. Rick and Daryl snuck out the room. Daryl peaks over the corner and there was a man in the living room.
"Hey beautiful, you need to eat." The man said. "Fuck you." Said another voice.
Daryl recognized the voice and it belonged to Beth. Anger grew inside him as he heard the man make nasty comments to her. Rick and Daryl come around the corner and Rick hits the man in his head with his gun. Daryl runs to Beth and hugs her tight. He unties her hands and legs and she hugs him back. She didn't want to let go.
"Daryl, I thought I would never see you again." She mumbles.
He just stares at her with a loss for words. Rick tied the man up and moved him in another room. He left them be. Before she could say anything else he smashed his lips to hers. She kissed back as her hands tangled in his hair. He licked the bottom of her lip asking to enter. She let his tongue explore her mouth. He pulled away and just looked her in the eyes. He kept thinking about the man and if he hurt her.
"Did that man hurt you or touch you? Cause I will kill that bastard." He said.
She looked away from his eyes. He didn't sexually touch her but yeah he hit her.
"He umm hit me." She whispered. "I promise that I won't ever let anything happen to you again. I can't lose you, I need you Beth and I love you." He said. He kissed her forehead and rested his head against hers. His intense gaze burning through her eyes. She hadn't realized how much she loved him until now. He finally let his emotions out.
