Disclaimer: I don't own 'em! Jeez!!
Author's Note: Okay, I was bored, so I whipped up a poem in ten minutes. Don't expect it to be very good.

Falling Feathers
Falling feathers that were blown away,
Too fast for wind, too slow for earth…
Watch them, through night and day,
Watch them fly with mocking mirth;
They were your feathers, were they not?
Once beautiful, sweeping with pride?
Now they're shattered; too much has been fought,
So they fly away…willing, begging to hide;
Floating to the ground in the rain,
They are free from the anguish,
Free from the pain…
Pain that tortured, pain you felt,
Pain that broke your fragile sanity,
All of it was unfairly dealt,
It all is truth about life…and its inhumanity;
What is a wing without its feathers?
You cannot fly without their lift,
You will only crash in the stormy weather,
Without them, you are in a sea of sorrow…
Floating, floating…
Floating adrift…
Watch your world as it drifts away,
Watch your life disappear all together,
No more chances to start a new day,
They all are gone,
On those falling feathers…
