Intro
It's the year 2100 and all is at peace on the planet earth. My father and mother ended the Gem War with the aid of Blue & Pink Diamond and the Crystal Gems. Yes you read that right, Pink Diamond. Turns out that Rose Quartz found out ahead of time that White and Yellow Diamond had plans to shatter Pink Diamond due to the fact that she was flawed and was creating too much of a power house gem (Rose Quartz). So Rose helped her fake her destruction and hid away from the other Diamonds with her soldiers. The plan was to strengthen in numbers to retaliate against Home World. But Rose Quartz didn't count on falling in love with a human, which delayed the plan by a lot.
Now here I am a third generation Rose Quartz, Cornelius Q. Universe. But just like my mom, you can call me Connie. Then there are my twin siblings Lenora and Miles Universe. Gem hybrids are somewhat new to the gem world. Apparently it didn't start with my father; it goes a bit further then before the Gem War. Pink Diamond Started cross breeding humans and gems to see if it was possible to make a stronger gem (This is what triggered White and Yellow Diamonds anger towards Pink Diamond). But sadly the results were not what she wished for. It took my grandmother to actually fall in love with Grandpa Greg, thus giving birth to my dad Steven.
This in the long run created one of the strongest gems ever. So due to the fact that my father was the first successful organic gem, he would be the first to make a baby with a gem without the need to sacrifice himself, his own gem or the need of a kindergarten, under certain conditions though. He needed another human that was part gem and that's where my mother came in. My mother just happens to be 1/4th Lapis Lazuli. But unlike my father, she does not possess any powers or abilities.
So since my birth, other hybrids have been mating to see if they can make working Human Gems (That's what we are called) and there has been 10 other successful attempts besides me and the twins. Its takes time to tell what child has gem abilities. It can show as young as 3 years old to as old as 12 years old, so far. I'm a Rose Quartz along with my sister. My brother is a Lapis Lazuli. They have mastered fusion at the age of 12, making the very amazing Aqua Quartz.
The Gem War is over, Home Word is free and Earth is safe. So what's the point of making more gems you ask? Well A week after the war was over, The Cluster somehow separated and freed itself from the bubble and scattered all about the earth creating more corrupted gems. Some of which are rare and very powerful. One that has the Crystal Gems worried the most is Black Diamond, which was sealed away in the Earths cluster by White Diamond. Most parts of the world still don't know of our existence and so we try are best to keep everything under wraps. But with Black Diamond out there, who knows what can go wrong.
