"Marionette"

Am I a marionette
Suspended upon string?
With no free will of my own
Controlled and never yielding
Am I a puppet
Led by a puppeteer
Taking me to my fate
Doomed to disappear
Am I bound by fate
Is it engraved in stone?
Will this current take me
Where I fear to go?
Or am I the wind
No master over me
Choosing my own course
Writing my destiny
