Calculated Risk He was just a kid.
Mind you a very smart kid, but still just a kid.
That didn't mean he thought like a kid.
so while other kids played hide and seek, he was having fun calculating risk.

It had started as a game when he was bored one day,
that he started figuring out what the risk was in everything.
'If I fight this Flan, I have a 60% chance of winning.'
'If I put this wire here, there's a 70% chance it will fix it, 20% chance it won't.
'.....and a 10% one I'll get electrocuted.'

It was a very good skill that he was especially glad he had when he joined the Gullwings.
It meant he knew when there was only a 10% chance of getting a sphere and 80% chance they would get injured, and told the ground team to tread carefully.
Knew when this invention would increase the success chance by 20% and when it would decrees it by 30%.

It meant he knew that that certain mercenary ad had a 50% chance of being for the right person to be Gullwing member #5.
...It also meant that he knew when he heard her description there was a 70% chance of her being, of all things, a 'pa¨atka-illihchi.'
And it meant when he saw her face-to-face he knew that the chance was 97%.

He knew it was 99% likely that she knew why he pushed the others to chose her.
But he was still 80% sure that she'd join.

The game was all about risks, and which where worth it.
And he was 99.9% sure this was worth it.

~End~

Hope you liked ^^
This is a 'preview' for a soon-to-come arc, in a AU FFX/FFX-2.
I will play with time flow and such, but for the most part won't change what we know from the games.
Hopefully I'll have more up for this and Thoughts of Pink soon, so R&R to inspire moi? *puppy eyes*
And do some CC!{constructive criticism} I like praises, but input is 10 times more helpful.
Also thank you to chibilinnet for beta-ing^^
Til next time
