Prologue
We begin in a small room, much like a healers office. A woman, with long stringy black hair is laid on the table, in utter agony. Several healers surround her, coaxing potions down her throat, to try and help the pain.
"You're almost there, just a few more pushes", the lead healer said.
She screamed as she pushed, contractions wracking her body. Her ankles we're bound to the table. Another woman stood near her head, holding her hand. She was extremely pale, with long blonde hair. She looked at the woman on the table, encouraging her, keeping a tight grip on her hand. She was strikingly beautiful, even with worry on her face. The woman on the table cursed loudly, and then the cry of a baby could be heard, loud and clear.
"congratulations Mrs. Lestrange, its a girl", said the lead healer.
The healer had cleaned the baby off and swaddled her in a blanket, she cried out for her mother, and was handed to Bellatrix who had a look of repulsion on her face, but took her none the less. The other woman came closer and looked at the little baby girl and smiled.
"What are you going to name her, Bella?", she asked.
"Elladora", she said hoarsely. "Elladora Lestrange II".
"That's an old Black family name isn't it?".
"Yes, Cissy.", Bellatrix said. "You will take her of course?".
"Absolutely. I will take great care of her," Narcissa said, taking the baby from her.
"Raise her right", said Bellatrix firmly.
The healers had finished cleaning up and were getting the guards to have Bellatrix put back in her cell, she screamed and struggled but was too exhausted to do anything. They took her away through a door, back to the soulless dementors and her own demons.
Narcissa turned away, tears rolling down her face at the loss of her sister again, but was escorted out of the prison by a guard carrying the precious tiny bundle that was her niece.
"Don't worry Elladora", she whispered softly. "Everything will be all right".
