The rugrats are all at Tommy's house getting ready for the first day of school. Angelica and Susie are in the 11th grade while Tommy, Phil, Lil, Kimi, and Chuckie are in the 10th grade. This is Dil's first time going to high school. Susie is very excited because she gets to drive her new bright red mustang to school while Angelica is stuck driving her mom's mini van.
Didi doesn't approve of the car Susie is driving so she will not allow Tommy and Dil to ride with her. She has already made plans with Drew and Charlotte for Angelica to give them a ride to school. Phil, Lil, Kimi and Chuckie all get to ride with Susie.
They all get in the vehicles and are off for school. Dil is nervous because Angelica told him about all the scary stuff of high school and how it was so much different from middle school. Tommy tried to explain to him that it wasn't that bad but he didn't want to listen to Tommy.
