Not my normal story lines, done for anonymous meme's in live journal. To write a story of " Raitei/Akabane, finally getting what he wants." Since I have a huge problem with ANY Ginji/Akabane romantic pairing I wrote this short bit. Still in the Middle of NaNoWiMo, will continue my normal sets after. So in the mean time this is a ONE Shot - Short fic. Enjoy. Oh and Character seems to die here.

It had been a random job, but since it had been Hevn's everything went wrong of course. Instead of a quick trip in and out of the Limitless Fortress. The GetBackers found themselves facing a horde of minions of the belt line. Easily over a hundred, that in itself wasn't the problem. The problem was the 20 odd children who had been caught in the middle of the battle. Ban forged into battle, as Ginji got the children to safety.
Getting them to safety turned out to be the easy part, the problem was that Ginji being Ginji, got lost and ended up stumbling around screaming his partner's name. He felt like he had abandoned Ban and he was getting more and more agitated.
Ginji however was not alone, violet eyes observed the young man. An evil smile curled around thin lips. The Jackal was hungry. It was the right place for it, and it could easily become the right time. Only one thing stood in the way of satisfying Akabane's hunger, and the jackal planned to overcome that. He disappeared into the night.
Finally Ginji saw a familiar form stumbling towards him. Ban had been hurt, and was clearly exhausted , he had fought off over a hundred enemies from the belt line, and fatigue could be seen in every line of his slim body. Ginji ran towards his partner, when a scream ripped though the air. Looking up a small girl was hurtling towards a jagged fence. Without hesitation Ban leapt and caught the child, he sensed it, but to catch the child he couldn't avoid it. A bloody sword pierced through the vitals of the Jagan wielder. Ginji watched as the light seemed to die in blue eyes and Ban Midou fell towards the ground.
Ginji screamed... and the limitless fortress shook. Lightning rained down everywhere. Rage filled Ginji and Ginji yielded willingly to the power. He called it at allowed it to consume him, The Raitei screamed... awakened to world which no longer contained any safe harbor.
The force of the hit was so powerful, so fast, Akabane was taken by surprise. Thrown back against the wall, he hit hard, and felt his internals had been damaged by the attack. There had been no slow buiild up of power, the Raitei had attacked full force.
Even as he rose and summoned the Blood Hurricane, the Jackal smiled. Finally, finally his lust would be satiated, his desire for battle met. None would, could stop it now. Finally the Jackal dearest wish was granted he was battling the Raitei at a 100%. Nothing could stop them. The battle was joined.
