1 – Sleepyhead Rule:
"The teenaged male lead will begin the first day of the game by oversleeping, being woken up by his mother, and being reminded that he's slept in so late he missed meeting his girlfriend."
Our hero lay in bed; face down in the pillow, fast asleep. He had been so tired the night before he fell asleep in his clothes even. His mother walked up the steps to his room and let her self in. She usually let him sleep, though she didn't like him sleeping in this late, but he was late. She walked up to him and tapped him on the shoulder, "Dear, its time to wake up, your going to be late," she whispered to him. Our hero just kept sleeping, ignoring his mother. "Ok than," she said as she pulled an air horn out of her pocket, put it up to his ear, and let the sounds fly.
Our hero woke with a start and jumped out of bed, and looked around in surprise. He looked at his mom in anger and tried to say something, but found no words coming out of his mouth. "What's the matter; did you loose your voice?" his mother said. Our hero could only nod his head yes. "Well than…that's weird son, I can't remember your name, what was it again?" Confused, our hero heard this pop up sound. He looked up and saw a box above his head with the title above it that read, 'Name?' In the actual box it said his regular name, which seemed to slowly disappear letter my letter. After it was completely gone, the name 'Tem,' appeared in it, causing the box to finally disappear.
"Oh that's right, silly me Tem," Tem's mother said, turning to leave the room. She had almost left when she turned around remembered why she had woken him up, "Tem, honey, your late for meeting your girlfriend." Tem realized she was right and quickly grabbed his sword and ran down stairs past her. "Be home by dinner!" she yelled out the door as he left.
Tem reached the meeting place but found his girlfriend wasn't there yet. He decided to lie down in the grass under a near by tree, falling quickly back to sleep…
