"Where should I go first?" Alucard mumbled to himself. He stood in the center of the mall looking around. Having no mission and nothing in particular to do on this night he had decided to go shopping.

He had his choice of stores, but he couldn't make up his mind which one to go to first or what to buy. *What do I need?* He looked around again, his eyes resting on a paint store. A smile spread slowly across his face as an idea formed in his mind. He walked slowly towards the store, having to weave between people.

It took him only a few minutes to find what he was looking for, bright orange paint. He stepped out of the paint store carrying 2 gallons of paint. He looked around again. *What next* He thought. *I could use some curtains and maybe some decorations.* He continued walking, finally stopping when he came to a store that was dark. Looking inside he could see lava lamps and other glow-in-the-dark items.

"Interesting." He stepped inside. After looking around for a while he found several lava lamps that he thought would go nicely with the orange paint. He smiled as he picked two and wondered around the store again, finally deciding on two neon glow-in-the-dark posters. *One more stop* He thought, once again wondering around the mall.

*Wear can I find curtains that match this paint?* He wondered around aimlessly, finally stopping in-front of another store. This store was similar to the last, but without all the glow-in-the-dark stuff. He raised an eyebrow and shrugged his shoulders in a silent "Why not."

Alucard wondered around the store, going up and down the isles, finally finding some velvety orange curtains. He smiled happily as he stepped out of the mall into the cool night air. He went invisible and reappeared in his room. He opened the cans of paint and began to paint the stone walls, covering them in a thick layer of paint. After the paint had dried Alucard started to hang the curtains when Integra walked in and, seeing the bright orange paint and curtains, burst out laughing.

"What Master, do you not approve of the color?" Alucard was smiling, he finished hanging the curtains and turned to his master.

"The color is ok, but bright." Integra, not being able to control her laughter left Alucard standing there, forgetting the reason she had come to see him. Alucard shrugged his shoulders and returned to his work. He took his time hanging the two posters he had chosen. They were bright and had no apparent design to them, other than random swirls of neon colors. He smiled, he loved the darkness, but he had to have some brightness, and his room would serve just that.

Alucard, finished with the posters and laid down on his bed, the sun would be coming up soon. He regretted not being able to admire his work too much before going to sleep, but there would be other nights when he would have nothing to do, then he would admire his room.
