Wendy opened the door when she heard a knock. There was Romeo, in his usual gear, asking if he could come in.
"Sure," Wendy replied, excited. As the two children sat down, Carla looked at Romeo in distaste.
"Wendy doesn't need him,"
"She's got me, after all."
"Fire and sky don't mix."
"It's ridiculous."
"They look like they're having fun, I'll leave them be."
"He makes her so happy, it's cute.." She smiled, maybe it was time to let Wendy grow up.
