Chapter 1
Chris has just gotten back to Lorelai's from taking his mother out for the day and Rory opens the door.
''Rory hey!'' Chris and kisses her cheek
''hey dad come on in.'' she says and lets him in
''thanks.'' he says and walks in
''so how was she not too terrible I hope?'' he asks her
''no not too for me anyways Mom left after a little while though.'' she tells him
''oh well where'd she go?'' he asksher
''she had to go run out for something or go to to Luke's or something I don't know.'' Rory tells him
''oh okay so where's Gigi you loose her?'' he asks her
''in my room come on.'' Rory says and goes to her room
''hey geeg your dad's here babe.'' Rory tells her
''Hi Daddy!'' Gigi says
''hey kido were you a good girl for Rory?'' Chris asks her
''uh-huh.'' Gigi nods and smiles
''how was your day?'' Rory asks him
''oh it was good I just uh took my Mom to visit my dad's grave and took her out for lunch it was nice you know just her and I.'' he tells her
''that's good'' Rory says
''yea.'' Chis says
''so how are thing's sweetie?'' he asks her
''oh fine...good.'' she tells him
''no Logan?'' he asks her
''no we um we broke up after everything.'' she tells him
Chris understands ''I get it.'' he says
''yea it was just too much for me.'' she tells him
''I know I get sweetie.'' he tells her
''ready to go geeg?'' Chris asks her
''yea.'' she says
''okay get your coat on sweetie.'' Chris tells her
''here gig let me help you with it.'' Rory tells her and helps Gigi get her coat on and gives her bag to Chris
''thanks you're a really great big sister you know that?'' he asks her
''oh well thanks I try.'' she tells him
''okay well thanks again for sitten sweetie.'' he tells her and kisses her cheek again
''oh no problem.'' she says walking with them to door
''bye.'' he says
''bye dad bye Gigi.'' Rory says
''bye.'' she says
Rory watches them walk out to his car and get in and closes the door when they pull away.
