"Y/N he got inside your head! How do you not remember him killing Bonnie's dad? Or locking Stefan in a safe and throwing him in the quarry!" Caroline shouted at me. Honestly I didn't remember a single thing that she was talking about. Her, Elena, Bonnie, Stefan, and Damon have spent the last three hours trying to convince me that Silas was a monster. But from the moment I met him everything he did was for the girl he loved. "He told me that you guys would say this. So what if he's killed people? Every single one of you has killed people!" I told them and they all became quiet. "Bonnie can you fix this?" Damon asked her and Bonnie looked at me then back to Damon. "Silas's magic is too strong, I'll only be able to bring the memories back if she wants them back." Bonnie explained and everyone looked back to me. "I don't." I said, "Y/N you don't know what you're doing." Elena said to me, "Really? Because if all of the things that you're saying are true it doesn't seem much different from what Damon did and you're latched onto him!" I shouted as I slammed the door to the boarding house. Outside Silas was waiting for me, I just ran into his arms. "They're saying horrible things about you." I said and his grip tightened around me. "I told you that they would say things to try and keep us apart." He said pulling away as he cupped my face. "You wouldn't mess with my head would you?" I asked him and his face hardened. "Of course not. It seems as though your friends are the ones getting in your head." He said pulling me against him, "Why are you friends with those people? They've done horrible things." Silas asked, and I searched my mind for reasons as to why I was friends with them. But all I seemed to remember was Caroline killing, Stefan Killing, Damon killing, Bonnie Killing, Elena killing and all of them torturing people. "Oh my god. I don't know." I said honestly, just then I heard the door opening to reveal all of my 'Friends'. "Get away from her!" Bonnie yelled as she raised her hand and I stepped in front of Silas so he wouldn't be hurt. "Stop!" I yelled, "I love him." I told them and their mouths dropped. I felt Silas grab me before using his vamp speed to run off, once we got a good distance away we stopped. "You love me?" He asked and I realized that was the first time I had said it. I just nodded and a smile appeared on his face, "I love you too. I'd never mess with your head." He said, "I want to be better for you." He explained "I know." I told him, "Which is why I want you to love me for me." Silas said and I raised a brow in confusion. "I do." I told him and be shook his head. He looked into my eyes and memories came back, it was overwhelming. It was Silas doing all of these horrible things. I took a step back out of his arms, a look of hurt came upon his face. "You manipulated me?" I said more as an observation than a question. "I'm sorry but you only saw me as a monste-" he started but I cut him off, "A monster who inflicts pain on others for no reason other than to feel powerful." I said repeating myself from when he asked me on a date before he messed with my head. "But you didn't manipulate me into loving you." I told him and he looked at me, awaiting my explanation. "Every single one of us has done unspeakable things, but even as an immortal life is too short to not give second chances." I explained to him, "What does that mean for us?" He asked curiously. "It means that you're going to have to earn my trust again." I told him and he nodded. "I can't do that in a town where people are constantly trying to murder me." He said "So you're leaving?" I asked him. "I hear Greece is lovely this time of year?" He told me and I smiled. "Well lets go then." I said pressing my lips to his gently.
