"One more game," Charles said to Sydney.
"Certainly," Sydney said, "You do know I let you win don't you?"
Charles rolled his eyes.
"Check and mate," he said as he got his first checkmate.
"Good try," Sydney said moving his, "But I'm talking about the original game we were playing. I could have won in a heartbeat. King me"
"You 'let me' win that," Charles asked raising an eyebrow, "Sydney the only way you could have won in a heartbeat was if it were my heart beating in you."
"You may suppose so," Sydney said, "but the truth is that I have a certain skill you do not possess"
"And, checkmate, what would that skill be?"
"I have a style about me," Sydney said, "I know how to listen as well as I know how to talk. Unlike you I don't abruptly put an end to conversations."
"It wasn't abrupt," Charles said, "The conversation was going nowhere."
"Because you weren't listening," Sydney said, "Check mate"
"I was listening," Chares replied, "I just wasn't agreeing."
"Well do you know what I say to that," Sydney said
"What," Charles asked
"I win the chess game," he said, "Check and mate!"
