Just a silly little drabble I wrote tonight out of boredem. I hope you all enjoy!
Warnings: MaiLee as in a yuri pairing. And also slight Jetko, if you know me, I can't resist =) So ya'know, if you don't like that kind of thing, leave. Its also unbeta'd. "I think you know what I'm getting at."
"What?" Ty Lee asked innocently, cocking her head to the side.
"Don't be stupid, you know exactly what I'm talking about."
"I'm sorry, but I really don't." I could now see a small smile on her lips. My eyes narrowed.
"Ty Lee…" I said in a warning voice. She heaved an exaggerated sigh, her whole body moving in the process.
"Ugh ok. I'm sorry Mai, I know it was ever so silly of me but she just wouldn't stop talking!"
"So you kissed her?!"
"Well it worked didn't it?"
"Ty Lee, she screamed and ran off."
"Well personally I would be honored to be kissed by me, she was probably just so shocked that me, the amazing Ty Lee, would actually kiss her!" She then laughed. I personally didn't think it was that funny.
"Ty Lee you can be such a child sometimes." She got quite offended by that and attempted to give me the evil eye, and failed horribly. I just rolled my eyes.
"Mai! I am not a child-" She was abruptly cut off by my phone ringing. My brand new phone that I had only gotten today, as my other one had been broken by my little brother.
"Shut up Ty Lee, the phone is ringing. Here's to my first caller." I flipped the phone open while taking a quick glance at the caller ID and did not recognize the number.
"Mrs. Li? This is the principal of the High School. I am calling on behalf of the fact that your son Jet was caught skipping class and seen doing profound things with another male student while on school grounds." I nearly choked on my laughter, apparently Ty Lee could hear as well as she was trying not to giggle. Jet. Our Jet who went to the same high school as us?
No way.
Well this was obviously a mistake as Jet didn't have my new number.
I replied, trying to sound older as I did. "May I please have a word with my son?"
"Why certainly." I could hear our principals fake smile and a quiet 'your mother wants to talk to you brat.' in the background. Next to me Ty lee gave me an odd look but I knew what I was doing.
"Mum…?" Came Jet's meek reply from the other end. It was so hard not to laugh.
I smirked at Ty lee before saying "Keep up the great work son, I know Zuko's pleased."
Ty Lee burst out laughing and I could hear Jet on the other line laughing as well. I just gave a small smile before hanging up. Feeling satisfied with my greatness I turned around to Ty Lee for some praise only to see her giving me a smirk. I was about to ask when she said the most absurd thing ever.
"And you call me childish."
I just stood there spluttering. Me….childish! It was such an insane thing to say! Ty Lee stood there smirking with her hands on hips acting all smug. Being me, I attempted to give her a piece of my mind.
"Ty lee for your information I am so not childish. I act so mature that I sometimes even scare myself! You're just jealous of my superior intellect and the fact that I have such great wit! I am so not childi-mrph!" I was cut off by a kiss. Ty lee's kiss.
Holy shit my best friend was kissing me!
Just as I had started to get over the initial shock of her kissing me and was starting to get into it, she pulled away.
"See I told you it shut people up." And with that she gave me a wink and skipped off.
"Errrr……." That was the most intelligent thing that could come out my mouth for quite a few hours after that.
