She shivered. There was a thunderstorm outside. Here she was, trapped in an abandoned hut for shelter with a strange boy. At first glance, he was about her age and bespectacled. He was also medium-built with a head of dark hair.

Yet somehow, this boy -this stranger- seemed so familiar to her. His posture, his darting glances at her. His lips.

His lips?! I'm delusional, she thought, Must be the cold. She sneezed as she hugged her knees closer to her chest.

Strong arms wrapped around her shivering body. And suddenly, everything came back to her in little flashes.

He was the one. The love of her life for almost two years. They were happy. People were envious of their relationship. They were so close, you had to pry them away from each other with a crowbar.

"It's over between us," she said one day.

The look on his face broke her heart. She really didn't want to do it.

"Whatever makes you happy. Just so you know, I will always love you no matter what. Always," he said, smiling sadly.

There wasn't a reason for the break up. It just happened.

"I've missed you," she whispered as she sank gratefully into his warmth. "So, so much."

"I love you."

A/N : Unfortunately, this has happened to me. Love is such a mystery.
