Title: Call It What You Will

Summary: Peter could have called all the times he ran into Emma as just a fact of living in New York City, where you were bound to run into the same people.

Notes: I've been re-watching Season 1 of "Heroes" on DVD and Peter tells Simone in 1.03 "One Giant Leap," "It's New York. I mean, everyone runs into each other sooner or later." My try at parallel structure after being inspired by "Milk & Honey" by face the sky.

He could call meeting her in the file room just a normal occurrence on the job.

He could call encountering her in Central Park a surprising coincidence.

He could call saving her life being in the right place at the right time.

He could call getting her ability proof that he hadn't fully mastered controlling his own power yet.

He could call seeing her in the hospital's West Wing a result of being drawn there by the auditory and visual sounds of the singing children's choir.

He could call all those things a part of living in New York City, where you were bound to run into the same people sooner or later.

Or, he could call it destiny.
