A/N: This what you get when you read one too many GraTsu fics. And when you obsess over 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians'. I don't know what the fudge happened, but somehow my brain conjured up this...

It was SUPPOSED to be a very short 200 word drabble, but somehow it ended up being 500 words. DAMN IT.

Oh well, -shrugs- Enjoy?

Me no own. You no sue.

May I have this Dance?

. . .

No amount of words could ever express how much, Natsu Dragneel, hated dances.

Especially formal ones. Those were the shittiest, seeing as how it forced him to wear a tux and tie, which in all honesty, he didn't look half bad in. In fact, he was probably one of the sexiest guys here.

But, it's not as if he knew that. And the only reason he was even at this stupid dance, was because he was here to celebrate Lucy's and Loke's wedding anniversary. Reason being, Lucy was one his best friends on the planet, and he couldn't not be there to celebrate with her.

"Something wrong, Natsu?"

Natsu glanced up from his seat by a table as far away from the dance floor as possible, only for his gaze to lock with Gray Fullbuster's. Natsu's lover of almost 6 years now.

Natsu simply clicked his tongue and scowled. "Tch. You know how much I hate this sort of thing."

"Maybe it's because you always tell me you can't dance?" Gray teased with a smirk.

Natsu glared at the man, before turning away angrily with an embarrassed blush adorning his cheeks.

Gray chuckled. "C'mon Natsu, it's not that hard."

Natsu huffed and crossed his arms, making Gray chuckle again at his lover's childish actions.

The raven stretched a hand out towards Natsu.

"Since this is a formal dance, maybe it'd be better to do it like this." This statement making Natsu turn to look at Gray in confusion.

"Huh?" Natsu blinked.

A second from then, Natsu heard a slow romantic song start playing. He watched as a few couples headed out to the dance floor, before turning back to Gray.

Gray smiled. "May I have this dance?"

Natsu's eyes suddenly widened, a small gasp escaping his mouth as he watched Gray bow slightly.

With no time for him to answer, Natsu found himself stumbling off to the dance floor, Gray pulling on his one hand. And at the same time, that scowl had returned to his face.

"Dragneel's don't dance." He growled as Gray put an arm around his waist.

Gray raised a brow. "But Fullbuster's do." He said with a smirk, glancing down towards the hand he had linked with Natsu.

Natsu looked at him, dumbfounded, before following his eyes. If this had been an anime, surely Natsu's jaw would have hit the ground.

Right there, on the pinkette's ring finger, was a diamond ring, shimmering under the venue's mirror ball in the centre of the dance floor.

When had Gray slipped this on to his finger?

Natsu was so shocked, he was almost at a loss for words.

"Gray… I…"

He felt a finger suddenly press against to his lips, as he looked back up from the ring, meeting Gray's soft gaze once again. Gray smiled softly.

"Natsu Dragneel. With your terrible dancing skills and all… I'd still be happy enough to love you forever."

.

.

"WHEN THE HELL DID I SAY I WAS A TERRIBLE DANCER?!"

. . .

A/N: I can't believe I ruined such a beautiful moment...

It was funny as hell though XD. And if some of it doesn't make sense, read it over. If it still doesn't, then I'm probably too mindfucked to notice.

Being a troll is fun :3

Trololololo~
