This is some random poem my friend Issei and I wrote in Creative Writing class. We were supposed to imitate the style of "Richard Cory", but with another character. Issei thought we should make it the Hulk. Here's the end result. Enjoy!

The Hulk

The Hulk as dancing on a groovy night
And then he told me all about his life.
For peace the evil beasts he always fight.
His heroism gained himself a wife.

His meals together weigh a ton a day.

He goes to work like any other man.

And after work, the monsters need a slay.

So on he slams until the monsters ran.

In dangerous times, Avengers bring back peace

Which other superheroes socialize,

Where they keep sure all good will never cease,

And happiness is greatest as a prize.

The Hulk was oscillating on the floor

He went on shuffling, moving high and low

And I went "Hmm," and uttered nothing more.

A man walked by and called, "Good costume, bro!"
