Disclaimer: I do not own Glee. :(

Doesn't exacly follow the script but close enough!

Puck sighed. He rolled over again and glanced at the clock. It read 2:04. He really needed some fucking sleep but he couldn't stop thinking. Which was a strange thing for him- normally he could just shut off his brain when he wanted to.

Quinn didn't know what she was talking about. Did she?

He wasn't a Lima Loser. He wasn't like his father. He wasn't going to run away.

He was confused to say the least. And angry. Really fucking angry.

Nobody seemed to believe him to be able to step up and take care of his daughter. Except Berry. Who was head-over-heels for Finn. Who spilled the beans. Who ruined his life.

He hated her. He really fucking did. But if he was honest, like really fucking honest, he couldn't hate her.

As much as he didn't want to admit it she was his only friend left. Even if they weren't really friends. Not in public anyway.

He didn't get her at all. He thought she'd have run off and play happy families with Finn now that Quinn was out of the way but she stuck by him. Which was wierd. (And if he was sticking with this honesty thing, he kinda liked it. At least he knew someone cared.)

She was the only one who knew about him caring for his sister. (Lima had a population of about 20 Jews, and they had known each other from when they were young. Like since they were in their cribs young)

His mom had to work shit hard since his fucktard of a dad ran off and so he had practically brought his sister up. And he could cook (Sort of... Those package meals counted as cooking- Didn't they?) Quinn didn't know what she was talking about.

But Berry did. At least he hoped so (He cheated off her in their last History test) And she said he wasn't a loser, that he would get out of this shit-hole of a town. But what did she know she was Berry. Who stuck a star after her name.

(He ignored the little voice in the back of his head saying that Berry could be right. He didn't think she was ever wrong before, plus she had a 4.0 or something- so he knew she wasn't stupid.)

As he rolled over in his bed, feeling his eyes drift closed, he decided that maybe Berry wasn't so bad. And she believed in him. But fuck the world if they expected him to ever admit it.

Well, thats it. Just something really short. Let me know what you think!
