Alfred F. Jones smiled to himself happily. In about an hour, they'd finally be able to bring their ship into the port. The sea was calm and they'd had absolutely no problems. Hopefully he'd be able to find a place that sells good hamburgers, and a milkshake or some soda too...

He was jolted out of his food filled thoughts as his radio crackled to life. "Hello?" he asked. "Sorry, I didn't catch that. Can you say it again?"

"Warning" the man on the other end repeated. "Please divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision"

"...Who is this?" Alfred asked suspiciously.

"Matthew Williams, sir"

"Well, Matthew" he said, looking at the moniter. "It'll be kind of hard for us to do that. We recommend that you divert your course 15 degrees to the North"

Something that could of been a sigh sounded on the radio. "That's impossible" Matthew spoke again, "please divert your course 15 degrees to the South to avoid a collision"

"Look," Alfred was starting to sound annoyed. "This is the Captian of a US navy ship. I'll tell you again; divert your course"

"I'm sorry, Captian, but we really can't do that" it seemed like Matthew was having trouble staying calm himself. "Please divert your course"

"Listen here!" Alfred was beyond trying to speak quietly, and was now screaming into the radio. "This is the Aircraft carrier USS Lincoln! The second largest ship in the United States Atlantic Fleet. We are accompanied by three destroyers, three cruisers, and a whole lotta support vessels. I demand that you change your course 15 degrees north!" He breathed in deeply, somehow managing to lower his voice to a deadly whisper. "I'll say it again. That's one five degrees North. If you do not change your course right now, counter measures will be undertaken to ensure the safety of this ship"

There was definitely a sigh over the radio that time. There was a long pause before the Canadian spoke again.

"This is a lighthouse" Matthew said coolly. "Your call"

Very short o_O I read this joke while I was in holiday in Cornwall at a sea boat museum, and, needless to say, I immediately thought of Hetalia XD I don't know if this was an actual conversation between American and Canadians or not (some places say it's fake, others say it's real...) but I still think it's funny XD Anyway, please review and tell me what you think XD
