While writing his new novel in Italy, the real tell-all scathing novel about the UES, Dan takes a break and lets his emotions run rampant immediately following his heartache and does what only he knows he can control... he writes… resulting in this quick one-shot. Dan's words are from the song "Never Again" by Danny Fernandes. I also found some inspiration listening to "Payphone" by Maroon 5, "See No More" by Joe Jonas, "Something Stupid" by Shawn Desman, and "Heartbreak Coverup" by Jesse Labelle. They are all good songs, though they are all from a place of hurt, but I suggest listening and looking at the lyrics to each. Like Dan, I'm crushed and bitter about Blair's decision and how everything went down… I don't know if I can recover… so this was formed. At least a lot of great writing is emerging! R&R please!

Disclaimer: Don't own GG or DB, if I did, the series would be Dair-centric and I would hire my friends and a bunch of awesome fanfic Dair writers to rule. Hopefully there are no mistakes, but if so, I own them.

Baby stop and think about it

Tell me where did we go wrong

How did it end like this

Can we work it out … I doubt it

We did all we could

And baby I can't go on like this

I never did you wrong your trippin'

Listening to your friends and all the bullshit they had to say

It's like they loved you more than I did

So baby roll with' your crew

And do what you gotta' do because

I never wanna kiss you again

Never wanna walk through the park holding your hand

No more talking all night until the early morning

It's such a shame to say that we'll never be the same... again

Baby stop and think about it

You lied to me, lied to me

Baby stop and think about it

You lied to me, lied to me

The love we once shared girl no longer

It no longer remains and now it's harder, the pain because

She never really knew she wondered

Was she being untrue or was I being a fool because

I'm gone and I'm never coming home

So baby don't call cause I won't answer the phone

Stay out of my life baby, just leave me alone

And it's such a shame to say that we'll never be the same

I never wanna kiss you again

Never wanna walk through the park holding your hand

No more talking all night until the early morning

It's such a shame to say that we'll never be the same... again

Baby stop and think about it

You lied to me, lied to me

Girl you told me you'd be there for me

Promised that you'd never leave

You lied to me

Now I'm closing the door

Put my heart on the floor

I don't love you no more

That's why I

I never wanna kiss you again

Never wanna walk through the park holding your hand

No more talking all night until the early morning

It's such a shame to say that we'll never be the same... again

After finishing his venting session with a sigh, he looked over his words and was quite pleased with its bitter tone and even dared to chuckle that it may be his next published work. Originally, he wanted to get back to writing his novel, but thought better of it, wanting to celebrate instead of slaving away on his laptop. Shutting his laptop, pushing his chair back, and grabbing his jacket, Dan made his way out onto the cobblestone streets of Italy.

He wanted a drink.

No, correction.

He needed several, relatively strong drinks

And Blair Waldorf…
