The first time Puck met her was in kindergarten.
The moment she walked into the classroom, it was like a bright light had been turned on. She was beautiful, absolutely beautiful, in a light blue dress and black flats. Her blond hair was wavy for the day, and fell all the way down to her shoulders.
She instantly became best friends with Santana Lopez and Brittany Pierce. They followed her around, flanking their fearless leader, all three girls dressed in the latest fashions.
Puck felt a hint of sadness when he thought back to those days, back to when Quinn was good and kind, and ruled her kingdom with kindness instead of fear. She was nice to everyone, and could cheer just about anyone up. If she saw someone bullying someone else, she would step in and stop it. She was a born leader.
Pretty much every guy in the class had a crush on Quinn, but they wouldn't admit it, instead annoying her like little boys did when they liked a girl.
Puck desperately wanted to get closer to the little blond angel, but she was always with Santana and Brittany, and his friends were always around, and they never got the chance. Well, until that one day.
Puck was at the park, with his dog Rover. He was walking Rover, and playing him, when he looked over, blinking in surprise.
It can't be her, he thought. But if not Quinn, who? I don't know anyone else with such luscious blond hair and beautiful hazel eyes. Unless it's an angel.
"Noah!" Quinn called, waving wildly and running over to him, jumping up and down. "Noah, Noah, Noah! Hi."
"Hey," he said, waving and smirking at her. She smiled back.
"This is Rover," he said.
"Aw, he's so cute!" Quinn squealed, kneeling down, but making sure she didn't touch the ground, since she didn't want to get her dress dirty. She petted Rover, who eagerly jumped on her and tried to lick her face.
"I think he likes you." Puck laughed, pulling on Rover's collar to get him off of Quinn.
Quinn smiled, running a hand through her blond hair. She wasn't used to feeling nervous. She didn't like it.
Just then, a shrill voice cut through the silence.
"QUINN!"
"Mom?"
"What are you doing?" Judy Fabray hurried toward her daughter. She gave Puck a scathing, condescending look.
"What are you doing talking to this dirty Jewish boy?"
"He's my friend, mom."
"He is NOT your friend, Quinn. We don't associate with Jews, especially not dirty, bad Jews like this child." She turned to Puck.
"Mom, don't!" Quinn pleaded with embarrassment.
"Stay away from my daughter. Don't come near her ever again, don't dare to talk to her or touch her or even look at her again, or I will set my husband on you. Are we clear?"
"Y-yes, ma'm."
"Good. Come on, Quinnie." She grabbed her daughter and began pulling her down the sidewalk. Quinn turned around, staring at Puck, her eyes wide and big.
The next day, Puck went over to Quinn, who was doing some silly dance with Santana and Brittany. "Hey." He smiled shyly at her.
Quinn was smiling, but when she looked over at him, the smile disappeared. "Oh. Hi." She turned back to her friends. "Can we have a moment?"
The two girls nodded and walked away. Quinn turned to Puck. "Noah..." she shook her head. "My mom told me I can't talk to you anymore."
"Why?"
"She says I can't be friends with Jewish people, and that your dad was a horrible person."
Puck suddenly felt very angry. "Fine then!" he yelled, right in her face. "I don't want to be friends with you, anyway!"
He pushed her down, and then stormed off, and that's how the feud of Quinn Fabray and Noah Puckerman began.
