Reid opened the door and saw Luke standing in front of him.
He took in every detail as Luke stormed into his apartment. His tear stained face. His puffy red eyes. Every single detail. He watched as he told him how he'd made the wrong choice, as he begged Reid to forgive him, as he told him he'd ended things with Noah. He watched as Luke walked closer to him, every step in time with his heart beat. He closed his eyes as Luke tentatively placed a warm palm on his cheeks and felt the buzz as he leaned closer and closer.
Reid wished he had more will power. He wished he could yell at Luke and tell him that it was too late, that he wouldn't be hurt any more. He wished his heart had repaired itself after Luke had chosen Noah so he would be strong enough to throw him out. He wished he could move on and hurt Luke the way he'd hurt him, but when he looked into Luke's eyes he saw that he was just as broken as he was. He knew that he couldn't say no.
Then Luke's lips touched his and he kissed him and kissed him and the world burst at the seams.
Reid wished Luke had chosen him sooner.
They kissed, sparks flew and time seemed to stand still. Reid felt him self falling and falling further into the oblivion that's called love and he knew there was no turning back.
