A/N: These random thoughts just hit me while I was supposed to be thinking
of ideas of all these other fics in my head, but the first line popped into
my head and I thought, "Hey, this can be another Kid fic!" So I thought
and thought and woodchucked and imagined my bishies shirtless and all that,
and here we are. These are Kid's thoughts after her last conversation with
Serge, the one where she says she's gonna find him and all that. R&R, coz
I'm proud of this fic.

Wanderlust

Does it all come to this…?
Does all I've been through, all I've done to get this far, come to an end?
Fate is so unforgiving…
It gives man nothing, not even a choice.
Yet…
Does it have to take you away from me?
You, the only thing I live for?
You, the only reason I came into existence?
Does the fulfillment of my destiny have to come to this?
Or…
Was it even fulfilled?
When I finally found out who I really was…
Did fate burden me yet again with another task?
Did it set upon me another destiny, which had to be fulfilled at all costs?
If that is so, I am not who I realized myself to be.
But I, when I find you, will know who I am, for I have now realized…
That my fate is tied to yours…
And that the supposed end to my wanderlust…
Is only the beginning.
