Chapter 1: Chaos Awakened

An ominous feeling sets the tone as our story begins. A strange area covered in complete darkness, but a solid surface made of an unknown stone. There is a faint, eerie noise like air rushing through a crack. The sound is then interrupted by a white light, focused into a swirling sphere. A loud snap can be heard, followed by a squeamish man passing through, clearly afraid of what he's seeing.

"Whoa...this is...definitely not where I wanted to be...where am I?"

The man is a frightened one. Tall and scrawny. His hair is long and ragged, colored a yellow-brown mix. His eyes are big, and full of fear, colored brown. His skin looks as if it hasn't seen the sun in years. He's dressed in an odd arrangement of clothing. An orange and brown plaid shirt unbuttoned over a plain white t-shirt, baggy jeans, and white sneakers. He clearly hadn't done laundry for more than a week.

The strange sounds of whispers and echoes surrounded him, making him only more and more frightened.

"I don't like the looks of this. I should've just left my quirk alone!"

The whispers rapidly intensified, seemingly getting closer to him. All he could do was panic, and look all around him, hoping to catch whoever he thought was trying to get the jump on him.

"Who is that?! Where am I?!"

The whispering could be heard all around him. He tries to run, unable to escape the noises, that suddenly turned into an extremely loud and disturbing scream that forced him to fall to his knees and cower. He started to cry.

"PLEASE! STOP! JUST STOP! I DON'T WANNA DIE! PLEASE LET ME GO!" His voice echoed.

Surprisingly, as he begged, the whispering calmed down to where it was a singular voice. It was closer, and he could actually pinpoint it. The whispering and muttering transitioned into snarling and growling.

"He took it from me..." The voice growled, then screamed so loud, it echoed around the entire area.

The man could hear feet stomping around. He cautiously lurked in the shadows, searching for the source. He took baby steps, until he decided that he should leave before things get too dangerous.

"No...NO! NO! NOOOOOO! NO!" The voice screeched, before laughing psychotically. "Never escape...never return...never kill again..."

The mysterious being threw itself around again, and to the man's surprise, he heard the source of the voice fall.

"H-hello?" He calls out.

A long moment of silence falls over the scene. The whispering suddenly stops, and he hears nothing. A chill crawled up the man's spine as he waited for something to happen. As quietly as he could, he raised his left hand and attempted to open a portal...

TAKE MY PLACE TAKE MY PLACE TAKE MY PLACE TAKE MY PLACE TAKE MY PLACE TAKE MY PLACE TAKE MY PLACE TAKE MY PLACE

The man was suddenly tackled by a humanoid being with a face obscured in darkness. The being grabbed him by the neck, tossing him around, throwing him at a distance too far to reach the portal. He got up, attempting to run, screaming for his life. The mysterious being pursued him at incredible speeds, suddenly appearing before him. It laughed as he ran into him, dropping to the ground, but the laughing quickly turned into psychotic bawling.

"Please...don't hurt me!" He said, cowering before the monster before him.

The monster seemed to ignore him, muttering about something that made it even more angry. It swiped at the air, roaring, screeching, and pounding at the ground. The man slowly got up, and noticed the creature had fallen to its knees, completely out of breath. It breathed deeply, snarling as it exhaled.

"Are you...trapped here?"

"HE DID THIS TO ME!" The monster roared in his face, and suddenly made sobbing noises once again. "THESE CHAINS, HE DID THIS. HE TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME!"

"Who?! Who hurt you?! Who did this to you?!"

"THE SON OF MY MASTER! HE DID THIS! I MUST BREAK THESE CHAINS! I MUST SHATTER THIS REALITY! I MUST DESTROY THE SENTINELS!" He screamed, grabbing him by the collar with one hand, and slammed him onto the ground, staring into his eyes with nothing but pure hate. Not for him, but for something else.

He then began giggling insanely as he dragged his feet across the stone ground. No chains were on any of his limbs.

"REVENGE!" he suddenly screamed. "I must have revenge."

"I can help you! We can find the people who did this to you, and you can get your justice!"

The monster screamed at him again, lowering itself onto all fours, and charged at him like a mad bear. Drooling at the lips, exposing its razor sharp teeth, it reared up, changing its form into something straight out of a nightmare. Of course, this scared him, and the monster suddenly calmed down, standing upright, and changing its shape into that of a white creature with fox ears, golden eyes, and blue markings around its body.

"H-help me...?" The creature said in a whimpering, scared voice.

"Yes! Look at what they've done to you. This isn't right. You're...a person...right?"

"Yes...I was." He sounded so normal, and began to walk normally. "You can...you can leave this place?"

"You bet I can! Just let me know what has to be done!"

The creature seemed more human than it appeared, and it even smiled at him. "Such a kind soul...what is your name?"

"Shinji. I'm from Moustafa City. I used my quirk, Dimensional Gate, to get here. I can travel anywhere in the world!"

"Such a fascinating power. Perhaps you will be of use to me...please, let us...benefit from each other. I will give you power...you, will give me freedom."

"Definitely! No one deserves to be here."

"Excellent."

"By the way, what's your name?"

The monster stared at him for a moment, unsure of what to say.

"It's been so long. For now, just call me...Revenant."

"Sounds good!" He said with a thumbs up. He then opens up a portal, which made Revenant smile with malice. "Let's go!"

"Splendid..."

In the world of Quirks and Heroes...

The morning was bright, the city was at peace, the heroes were relaxed, and the students were eager for another day at UA High, the most prestigious school in all of Japan for those who aspired to become the world's next top heroes. Even that, in itself, was an understatement, especially in terms of the class in particular. Class 1A, led by Shota Aizawa, AKA, Eraserhead. Accompanied by five other teachers, one of them being the illustrious All Might, they taught twenty bright young minds, each with incredible quirks that have been tested, and pushed to their limits. Even so, they were still students, and had much room to improve.

This was especially true for Izuku Midoriya.

"Midoriya." Aizawa barked as he caught his student staring at nothing again. "Do you sleep when you go home?"

"Yes, sir! I'm just...thinking."

"Well, you'd better be thinking of something far more important than what I've got to say. I need all ears to listen up. I'm passing out an official legal document today from the Ministry of Justice. You'll need these forms when we go out for patrol. I expect you to fill everything out as accurately as possible. Leave no information blank. They will be seen and approved by a government official."

"Did he just say PATROL?!" The students thought at the same time.

"Oh, shoot. I just spoiled that surprise. Yes, we're going on patrol. It's a simple concept. You monitor the streets for any criminal activity. You'll be free to roam anywhere in the city. Limit your use of your quirks. Police are to be contacted if you encounter something. In the event you do, it'll go on your hero record, and they'll be extra points to your grades today, as well as a massive boost to your reputations as novice heroes."

The students got their game faces on. Bakugo smirked as thoughts of reckless violence against villains played in his head. Mineta blushed at the idea of using his balls to climb up walls, and hopefully, "accidentally" catch a glimpse of a beautiful woman getting dressed. He started to drool, freaking out his surrounding classmates. Uraraka, however, kept staring at Midoriya. She fidgeted in her seat just by seeing the look of excitement on his face.

"This would be the perfect opportunity for us to be alone! Wait...what am I thinking?! I have to stay focused!" She blushed at the idea of them walking side by side with no one around.

"You will also be accompanied by at least one of your classmates. Nobody is going anywhere alone. You're obligated to complete at least 3 assignments, and you'd better write them down. Not only that, you're going to be watched by all six of your teachers. If I find out you're separated from any group, cheat, or abuse this chance to do real work, you will fail the lesson, and disciplinary actions will be taken. That's all I've got. Now, get your groups formed. Once you're done, class rep, form a line, get everyone changed. We leave in 30 minutes."

"Yes, sir!" Iida said loud and proud. "EVERYONE! FORM YOUR TEAMS!"

Uraraka couldn't help herself, and she didn't waste a single moment. "Hey, Deku! Let's team up again!" She said as Deku was already talking to Iida.

"Sure, I'll partner with you! I trust you'll perform well. You too, Uraraka."

She breathed a heavy sigh, relieved, but bummed that someone beat her to it. She got what she wanted, but she didn't get what she wanted.

Fast forward 30 minutes later, Class 1A gathered by the gate that separated them from the rest of the city. They each stood tall and proud, ready to show the city just exactly what they were capable of.

"Alright. You all have a thirty second head start before the teachers get to their designated spots. Ready?"

Aizawa showed his creepy smile as a whistle hung from his mouth. He blew into the whistle, and all 20 students rushed out in groups.

Midoriya, Iida, and Uraraka took group one. Tsuyu, Hagakure, and Mina took team 2. Mineta, Kaminari, and Sero took group 3. Shoji, Tokoyami, and Ojiro formed group 4. Group 5 was an obvious pair between Bakugo and Kirishima. Team 6 consisted of Yaoyorozu, Jirou, and Todoroki. The last group was taken by Sato, Aoyama, and Kota.

"Get moving!" Aizawa said as his students charged onto the playing field.

Just before the groups rushed out, Mina and Hagakure pulled Uraraka aside, and both of them smirked maliciously, and even though Hagakure was invisible, she could just tell they were up to something.

"We see you staring, lover girl!" Mina says with a giggle.

"Is that why you were fidgeting so much this morning?! If it's bothering you that bad, you should tell him!"

She blushed a bright red, trying to hold back either tears or laughter. "It's not that easy! I'm trying to let it be...but I just can't!"

"Maybe she should come with us. Ribbit." Tsuyu appeared behind her. "You're going to be distracted, and it could be dangerous."

"I'll...I'll be fine. I swear."

"You'd better be. Remember, this isn't just training. It's the real thing. Ribbit."

"I know...I'll be attentive. I promise."

The girls back off as she walks over to her team waits for her.

"Let's go, you guys!" Kaminari calls out.

"We don't have time to waste." Tokoyami added.

In Another World...

A comfy scene plays out as a group of costumed superhero friends have set up a campsite. A calm flame flickered as the sun began to set. On the table, assortments of snacks and various meals are spread out, while upbeat music filled the air. A pair of kids run around, chasing some kind of bug, giggling and laughing as they played. One of the older kids sat on the hood of one of the nearby vehicles, looking over the hillside, admiring the massive city below. The rest of the group had gathered around the campfire, listening to a story by one of the two adults. However, one of the girls stood in the dark, overlooking the city below. She seemed to be worried about something. The city's lights are bright enough to shine on her, revealing her beautiful maroon hair, brown eyes, and fair skin. She's dressed in her hero costume of a dark red leotard with a silver belt with matching boots and gloves.

"Next thing I knew, Ryuu just rips his wrist out of his skin! It made me jump, and as you know, not many things make me flinch! Regardless, Ryuu tries to stab me, and when he does, it breaks, doesn't even cut my chest! The lad was so terrified, and I didn't have the heart to hurt him too bad. So I punched him in the gut instead!" The man laughed heartily, and very hard, so hard, he began to cough.

"Kyuzo, he was boasting about how he got a hit on you last time!"

"Well, his dead dog thing did, but as far as him, not so much." Turning his attention to the table next to them, his mouth began to salivate. "Now...let's get those plates ready for this spectacular feast! Go ahead, don't be shy! I made more than enough for the next three days!"

Everyone loads their pallets with delicious assortments of meats, vegetables, stews, snacks, everything delicious separated by numerous pots, pans, bowls, and trays.

Kyuzo seems proud of his accomplishment, smiling widely at what he's created. His smile disappears when he notices someone is missing. He looks over to the girl, who remains standing still, waiting for something.

"Miyuki! Come get this food! It's really good! I even made your favorite, and, trust me, I know it's your favorite!"

She remained frozen. She just kept waiting. A frustrated sigh came from behind her, and a girl with orange hair popped out of nowhere.

"Hey, babygirl. You can wait for your boyfriend, and eat food, you know. Multitask."

She turned around, a blank expression on her face, but it quickly changed color, and went from peachy to pink.

"He's not my boyfriend! I'm just waiting! He said he was gonna be here!"

"Oh ho! I hear some denial in that voice, Miyuki!" Kyuzo laughs heartily again, emabrassing the poor girl.

"Not you too, Kyuzo!"

He laughed again as he held a second plate in his hand for her.

"Now eat."

Shortly after, Miyuki is seen eating with four plates stacked next to her. She still has a stubborn look on her face, still bothered about something, but was too hungry to focus on it.

"Well, how is it?" Kyuzo asked excitedly, slightly hopping around with glee.

"Absolutely amazing!" She said with a very happy smile.

Everyone cheered a bit, laughing afterwards, continuing to eat the feast before them.

"Now, where is that boy?" Kyuzo scratched his head, overlooking the hillside, just as Miyuki did. "Ah, there he is."

In the distance, a flying object rocketed towards the group. As it inches closer, they realize that it's a person, and they're coming in fast. Miyuki gets up quickly, realizing who it is. A boom echoes behind him as he suddenly stops, and lands ever so gently, removing his eye covering mask. His hair had softened, turning from white to black. He had dark royal blue eyes, tanned skin, and hair as black as night. He wore a dark blue jacket over a black armored bodysuit and gray combat pants which were held up by a brown belt with matching leather boots and gloves. On his back was a short broadsword in a brown leather scabbard. He wasn't that tall, standing a five foot seven inches.

"Big bro Haru!" One of the kids shouted with excitement.

"Hey, Kimiko! Good to see you!" He said as she hugged his waist. "Sorry I'm late. Got in a fight with Wight Knight. He won't be a problem for a while."

"It's about time you showed up, hotshot. Miyuki over here was gonna starve do death if you didn't show up." Ayame smiled smugly at Miyuki, much to everyone's, mostly the girls', amusement.

Haru looked over to Miyuki with a gentle smile. She looked downwards submissively, blushing a bit.

"It's been a few weeks, I'm aware. Nobody's leaving for good. Did you eat?"

She nods, looking up at him standing awfully close to him.

"Alright! Let's see what you guys have going on here!" He uses his powers to bring a drink over to himself as he gathers food.

As everyone enjoys the festivities, and just as Haru takes his first bite, a loud snap similar to a thunderclap shakes the entire area, scaring everyone out of their skin.

"What was that?!" One of the boys said as a giant pair of wings appeared on his back.

"Whatever it is, it doesn't look friendly!" Said one of the girls.

Suddenly, a portal opened up, and widened into a giant hole. Everyone got in their fighting positions, ready to strike. Haru puts on his mask again, and his hair turned white. He draws his sword and takes point.

The winds calmed and the loud noises cease when the man seen earlier in the pocket dimension walks out. He seemed weak as he stumbled to the ground, coughing violently.

"Hey! You alright?!" Haru sheathed his blade, tending to the exhausted man.

"Shinji. Be weary of this one. I sense great powers within him. Let me take over, just in case..." The voice echoed in his head, and seemed to send a shock through Shinji's body, causing him to jump, and alter his personality, beginning with a whispering yelp. Shinji's iris suddenly changed shape, from a human's to one of a snake's.

"I'll be alright. Traveling through dimensions isn't something I'm used to just yet..."

"Someone get me some water!" Haru orders as he continues to look into Shinji's eyes for any signs of trouble.

The little boy, Rin, ran to the cooler and grabbed the water bottle, giving it to the man.

"Thank you, young one." Revenant mutters as Haru slings his arm over top of him and carries him to the table. He immediately chugs the water, and takes a deep sniff of the delicacies before him. Without hesitation, or an invitation, Revenant begins to grab various amounts of foods, stuffing them in his mouth, and swallowing at an unusual, and disturbing motion, which was overlooked by the others, despite his jaw growing in size, and engorging the food at impossible levels. As funny as this would seem, it was very unnerving.

"Please, excuse me. My name is Shinji...I'm from Moustafa City. Do any of you know where that is from here?"

"Fascinating!" Kyuzo said as he took a bite from his plate. "Did you like the food I prepared?"

"I don't think any of us have heard of it. It's not even pulling up any results on Woggle. Woggle knows everything!" Said little Rin, looking at his phone.

"Oh. Being ignored." Kyuzo pouted, sadly taking another bite of his food.

Rin shows Shinji his phone, who doesn't seem to react. Little Kimiko looks over, putting her finger to her chin. "Maybe it's a tiny town!"

Shinji shook his head in denial.

"I'm afraid it's a rather large city. It's full of superheroes. From the feeling I'm getting from your...creative costumes..."

He observes them all, from the creative little kids in their costumes, to the big strong men in their costumes, and the fashionable, and tight fitting costumes of the women.

"I figured you'd be close to it."

"We've never heard of Moustafa City. However, you're on the outskirts of Capital City."

Shinji takes a good look at Haru, and stares him down. He seems enticed by him, and focuses on him for a moment, making everyone uncomfortable. The two lock eyes, and Haru's serious expression doesn't change.

"What's this stinging sensation I'm feeling? Something doesn't feel right."

"Mister? Mister?" Kimiko askked him sweetly, tugging on his pantleg. He slowly looks down at her with a terrifying scowl, which made her back off instantly. This immediately caused Haru to tense up, and his power slightly charged, as if he were going to blast Shinji, which caught his attention.

"Revenant! Whatever it is I think you're planning to do, don't you dare involve those kids!"

"Mind your business. I will do what must be done."

Shaking Shinji's head, Revenant maintained control, suppressing his host. "Oh...forgive me. I was lost in thought. It's just strange to me. My city is not here...and I hear of another large city I've never heard of."

He walks over to the hillside, taking a look at the lights as the lit up the night sky. The city spanned for over several miles, surrounded by thick walls, and at the center, a massive tower with a bright blue light at the top.

"What is that?" He points out.

"That's the "Signal of Hope". It's a beacon that shines over the city, a constant reminder that the capital is under protection, and will always remain free."

Shinji chuckles, a smile spreading across his lips, catching Haru's attention. Shinji doesn't say a word, observing the city even further. He watched the lights from the moving cars, the faint movements of people below as they crossed the streets. Some heroes took to the skies alongside helicopters, and the occasional plane.

"So much chaos..." He whispers, intrigued. "Tell me...how many people do you think are in that city?"

Putting his thinking cap on, Haru turns towards his friends.

"Good question. What do you guys think? I say maybe...three million."

The others gave numerous answers, with the highest being Rin of a very specific answer of five million, two hundred seventeen thousand, and twelve. Shiba guessed a hundred.

"I see..."

Shinji's eyes closed, and he listened as he could hear the faint whispers of millions of voices. Unbeknownst to the others, Revenant had projected a spirit form of his body among the people, hearing copious amounts of negativity. It was all throughout the city. Heroes and civilians alike, not just criminals.

Several crimes are committed, where a young woman is gagged, in tears, being thrown into the back of a windowless van. On the other side of the city, a man is robbed at gunpoint, then shot. At another spot in the city, a child is being bullied by five larger boys. It wasn't just that, but the unsuspecting were negative as well. Revenant listened to the anger a woman spouted at her group of friends, regarding a cheating husband, while crying, half drunk. Another negative voice was a man grieving over the loss of what sounded like his son due to a disease. Somewhere in a condemned building, a man has a psychotic breakdown, laughing that the voices won't stop. He laughs maniacally, throwing his body around the room, hitting his head on numerous spots so hard, he begins to bleed. Revenant smiled evilly, amused by this insanity, and the psychotic man stops his panic, locking eyes with the being. Revenant stares eerily with an ominous smile, and the man screams, drawing a knife, and charging towards him.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" He screamed, but Revenant disappears, returning to Shinji's body.

"Shinji" seemed to be filled with a new life, twisting and turning, as if he were in a state of ecstasy. He laughed quietly as the flow of purple aura flowed towards him.

"So much chaos! So...arousing..."

"Chaos? You alright?" Haru approached him, nearly putting a hand on him.

"So...much...POWER!"

Shinji grunts as a powerful aura bursts out of his body, kicking up the ground beneath him, forcing a crater to be formed around him, blowing everything, and everyone away. Haru stands his ground and puts up his guard as debris flies all around, and a bright orange light engulfs the area, nearly blinding everyone.

"What's he doing?!" Haru blocks the attack, creating a shield that covered the entire front of his body. The intense winds pushed passed him, and everything behind him was blown away.

The others took cover behind each other. Hanabi dropped bubble shields to protect everyone who hadn't already built their defenses. Kyuzo defended with his muscles, as well as Shiba. Tetsuo's wings proved a cover, and he barely moved an inch, still surprised by the force that burst from Shinji.

"This power..." Tetsuo calmly thought to himself.

The winds had calmed, and Shinji had formed into the terrifying monster from before. With black and sharp pupils, golden eyes, and pale white skin glowed under the moon. He was dressed in a long, white cloak that covered his entire body.

The dust settles, and Kimiko is the first to run out, seeing her brother face off against the mysterious being.

"Big bro Haru...you gotta kick his scary butt!"

Shinji snickered as he read the little girl's thoughts, before raising a hand to blow her away.

"Who are you?! What are you?!" He growled, staring down the demon with a deeply angered stare.

"Haru...I'm heartbroken. You don't remember me?" He laughs as Haru's suddenly pushed away with a mighty force, lifted into the air, suddenly unable to breathe. Dropping his sword, he looked into the eyes of the monster, whose maniacal smile burned into his memory before tossing him into a nearby tree.

"HARU!" Miyuki screamed, activating her powers. Her hair flew upward wildly, free floating, and her eyes turned white. "YOU WILL PAY FOR THAT!"

Revenant simply raised his hand as she charged after him, but suddenly went flying and hit the side of Kyuzo's RV, rendering her unconsious. He then smiled evilly as he looked into Haru's eyes. "I'm surprised you had forgotten me so easily after your mother created me, and I killed your father, then you took away my destiny, and left me for dead in that Hell hole."

"You brought that on yourself. I gave you a chance to walk away and find your own destiny. You don't have to do this. My mother's gone, and I have nothing against you."

"Haru...you lie to me? After all this time? How unexpected of you! I know that feeling in you. Yes...you want vengance for your father. I gutted him like a fish. His misery and despair were absolutely delicious. How does that make you feel?"

"Don't listen to him, Haru!" Kyuzo cried out. "He's trying to make you angry!"

"And your mother. The menace to society. You think she wanted to bring change for YOUR sake?! She killed innocent people because of what society did to her. She never cared about you or your worthless father. She created me to take your place. I was her favorite."

Haru smirked, drawing his sword, and cut off Revenant's hand, gaining distance between them both.

"You sure like to hear yourself talk. I've beaten you before, and trust me, I can do it again."

Revenant cackled, losing control of himself, and his sanity began to break again.

"I'm very certain you're powerful, Haru..." He looks over at the others. "BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR FRIENDS?!"

Revenant creates a purple energy beast's head, and fires it towards Haru's friends. They all brace for impact, and cry out in terror. Haru is taken by surprise and tries to rush in, but Kyuzo stepped forward, guarding the others, and taking a deadly hit that burned his arms.

"GAH! That's...painful..." He winced.

"Kyuzo! Are you alright?!"

"I'm fine, Mystic...just fine..." Kyuzo stood tall and strong, but was irritated. "I'm going to break you, monster."

The others cheered as Kyuzo rushed Revenant at blinding speeds, taking him by surprise. The force generated from Kyuzo's speed burst was immense, it tore the ground beneath him, and he turned practically invisible, but his footsteps were marked. When he reappeared, he punched Revenant dead center in the face, but to no avail.

"WHAT?!" Kyuzo roared in awe. "He...he didn't feel that?!"

Revenant chuckled ominously, grabbing Kyuzo's arm. A purple mass began to infest Kyuzo's body, and he suddenly burst into a purple flame.

"KYUZO!" Hanabi screeched, watching her hero burn.

Haru held out his hand, and his aura covered Kyuzo's body, extinguishing the flames.

Revenant was confused for a moment, unsure why his power wasn't working. He looks at Haru, who glared at him with controlled fury.

"You're crossing the line, Yokai."

"Well then, come stop me, hero."

"Alright. I warned you."

Haru's hair blew upwards as his energy began to rise. His body seemed to slighty increase in size. Suddenly, he disappeared, and reappeared mere inches away from Yokai's face. The demon threw a punch at him, but the hero vanished, reappearing behind him. Yokai attacked behind himself, but Haru disappeared again, and reappeared above him. He kicks him dead cented of his skull, grabs the back of his coat, and yanks him back into his sword.

"C'mon. You're not even trying."

Haru was not surprised by the next move. Yokai appeared from beneath him, but Haru easily dodged the attack, spinning, and slamming his enemy with an boosted backfist that sent him flying into the treeline.

Kyuzo rubs his face and gives Haru the look of disappointment.

"Really, Haru? Spinning?"

"What? It's a good trick!"

Yokai suddenly appeared, angrier than before. His skin was now blood red.

"Oh boy. Look. He's upset." Haru said, unamused. "Kyuzo, in all seriousness, protect our friends. This is between me and him."

"Alright, my friend. I'll be waiting if you'll need my help."

"Thanks."

Yokai and Haru stared off, both powering up silently.

"I can sense his power. It's grown, and it's a lot darker than it used to be. He's not just some abomination my mom created. No. He's become...chaotic."

"The Mystic Force has only grown stronger in him. He has no idea what have in store for him. But...my power is still too weak. I need to break him."

Hanabi dropped the bubble shields as Kyuzo ran to them.

"Everyone, we need to get the vulnerable out of here. That monster is too powerful."

"But, Kyuzo, we've taken him before! We can do it again!"

"No, Shiba. This is a threat only Haru can handle." The others gasped, knowing fully well just how powerful he was. "Everyone, your powers are incredible, and mighty, but not enough to face against this creature."

"No way!" Ayame shouted, drawing her katana. "If there's anything I learn from Haru, it's that he's too stubborn to give up. Why shouldn't I be like that? I don't care what you say! We're staying, AND I'M KICKING HIS ASS!"

Ayame tries to run past him, nut Kyuzo easily catches her.

"I said no. Haru is far more powerful than any of us in his current state. That Mystic Force of his is enough...for now."

Kimiko and Rin watch intently as they see Haru assume his battle position. He spins the blade around to where he's holding it backwards. Revenant also draws a blade from one of his sleeves, as it materialized from nothing. He licks the blade, cutting his tongue.

"Gross." Haru says, attacking with lightning speed, catching Yokai off guard, locking swords with him. "What's wrong? Surprised? I can see your weak points. You're no match for me. Not anymore."

Haru fake attempts to grab him by the throat, forcing his foe to dodge. Taking advantage of this, Haru spins, and throws his blade. Yokai successfully blocks this blade, but Haru rushes him, grabbing his wrist, and squeezes with incredible force. Then, he unleashed a barrage of punches and kicks that were so fast, it looked like he wasn't even touching him, but the impacts were visible. With a final kick, Haru slams his leg into Yokai's torso, thrusting him into the ground below. Yokai hit the ground so hard, it formed a crater. Haru then used his psychokinesis to force the sword back into his hand, and he dived straight down into Yokai, stabbing him dead center.

"You...have become...so powerful, Haru."

"I warned you." He says, holding out his hand, forcing him to rise out of the crater. "By the way, keep my family out of your filthy mouth."

Haru balled his hand into a fist, and the sword split Yokai in half, severing his legs from his body.

The others gasped and stared in shock at how easily he defeated the demon. When he did, Miyuki began to stir back awake. She could see that Haru stood victoriously over the demon. His psychic powers drew the sword back to him, and he sheathed it, turning his back on his enemy.

"Haru! You did it!" Shiba shouted with excitement.

"Way to go!" Sanae cheered, clapping her hands.

As Haru walked away, he heard shuffling behind him. He turns to see half of Yokai's body floating, completely out of breath.

"You should know to NEVER turn your back on your opponent..."

He fires a purple blast of energy at Haru, who deflects it with his sword, shattering the blade, but reflected it back towards Yokai, hitting him dead center in the chest. Haru collects the pieces of his blade, and uses his psychic power to weld it back together, but could not hide the cracks.

"Shame...I really like this sword."

Suddenly, Yokai reappeared before him, and he instinctively threw a kick, but the demon stabbed him in the leg.

"...Unless you're sure your opponent is dead."

Behind them, Shinji had reformed from the severed legs of the demon. He opened a portal that opened up behind Haru's friends, and quickly snatched Kimiko, holding her at knife point.

"REV! I HAVE ONE OF THE GIRLS HOSTAGE!"

"GOOD, SHINJI! VERY GOOD! DO NOT LET HER GO!"

Shinji smiled evilly at the heroes, who stared at him with caution.

"Shinji, young man, don't make a decision you're going to regret."

Shinji looks at Kyuzo, seeing a splitting image of All Might coming from him.

"Back. Up." Shinji says evilly, pressing the knife up to Kimiko's neck. "Don't worry. When Rev kills your friend, and you guys, I'll personally take care of these two little ones. They'll be safe, away from you monsters. I won't kill her. Or...will I?"

He presses the knife against her neck, instantly piercing the skin. Kimiko was terrified, but she remained calm. Instead of crying, she balled her fists.

"Let go of me." She said calmly.

"Or what?"

Kimiko's eyes glowed a bright blue, and the knife began to crumple. This took Shinji by surprise, and the others back up, completely afraid of what was to come.

Instantly, she raised her hands, picking him up into the air. She started to slam him against the ground, wildly waving her hands up and down. At the last second before he hit the ground, he opened a portal, and she lost her hold on him as he reappeared behind them, attacking Miyuki.

"Damn. The bad guys always have the best looking ladies." He punches the back of her neck, temporarily disabling her. "Too bad you're a villain though. Anybody seen a neck get snapped before? You're about to."

Big mistake. Haru suddenly appeared behind Shinji, and grabbed his wrist. Like what he did to Yokai, he squeezed his arm so hard, he fractured his wrist.

"LET GO! DAMN YOU!"

"Don't you dare put your hands on her."

With ease, Haru throws Shinji over his shoulder and kicks him away from the others. Yokai holds out his hand, and Shinji flies over towards him.

"Shinji, open a portal. I will break Haru."

"How?! He's so strong!"

"Believe me. I know."

Yokai growls and suddenly forms a massive ball of purple energy. The force that blew off of the ball blew everything away again, and the others stumbled, trying to stand their ground. Even Haru was knocked off balance.

"NOW, HARU! YOU WILL SHARE MY PAIN! SAY GOODBYE TO EVERYONE YOU LOVE!"

Haru stood his ground as numerous balls of purple energy rapidly shot out of the massive ball, and they flew around, hitting random targets, but focused on everyone. Focusing his attention on the countless number of spheres, Haru held out his hands and focused. Closing his eyes, his powers overwhelmed the energies, taking Yokai by surprise again.

"IMPOSSIBLE!"

Angrily, he glances down at Haru's position, and goes in for the attack.

"HARU, LOOK OUT!" Shiba shouted as he charged toward him, almost tackling the demon.

Yokai hits Haru dead on, smashing him into the ground, breaking his balance. Thankfully, Haru was able to dilute the energy spheres, and when they hit everyone, they only stunned them.

"Rev! Let's go! I have the kids!"

Yokai looks at a stunned Haru, who struggles to move because of the pain. This is enough to satisfy him, and he proceeds to leave.

"Open the portal!"

Yokai uses his powers to amplify Shinji's, and it opens.

"Not so fast..." Haru says under his breath.

Using up the last of his strength, Haru flies towards Shinji, tackling him head on, forcing him to release Kimiko and Rin. Out of pure rage, Haru grabs Shinji by the neck and throws him into the portal. Yokai takes advantage of the enraged hero, grabbing him, and jumping into the portal. Haru fought back, struggling to break the grip, looking at his baby sister one more time.

"Kimiko! Yuki! Be strong! I'll be back! That's a promise!"

Suddenly, the portal shuts, and all is silent again.

The group is left shocked, confused, and broken. Miyuki fell to her knees as she ran up next to Kimiko, who started to cry.

"Big brother...NOOOOOOOOOO!"

Haru held onto Yokai as he fused back with Shinji, and they became two separate trails of energy. Haru became a greenish-blue, while Yokai and Shinji became orange.

"Oh, SHIIIIIIIIIII-!" Haru shouted as they were instantly flung out of the portal.

Haru's green light flew into the heart of the city, taking the people by absolute surprise and shock. Lighting up the skyline, despite it being the middle of the day, his light had crashed into the city, yet it didn't leave a single mark. A loud thunderclap shakes the area as the lights appeared, and the portal shut as quickly as it appeared.

In Deku's Universe...

The young heroes go about their business, conducting their patrols. Iida marches ahead like a soldier, keeping a steady pace, watching for movements in the alleyways nearby.

"This city reeks of villainy, heroes. Double check the shadows! You never know what could happen next."

Uraraka giggled as Iida marched the way he did. This whole thing was very silly. She then burst into laughter as Midoriya copied his movements, pushing his chest out, and held his breath.

Iida then turns around. He nods in approval as Midoriya passes him.

"Excellent, Midoriya! Keep that stride up! Uraraka, you're the only one who doesn't seem motivated to perform on this patrol!"

"Iida, we're just walking! Get a grip!" She said with a laugh.

"YES, but, with a proud strut, we can assert our dominance and presence!"

Midoriya stopped walking funny as Uraraka burst into laughter, walking away from Iida's declaration. "Let's just...keep going!" She snickered, trying to compose herself.

"It's awesome that Mister Aizawa got the approval for this! First year students, and we're already doing hero work! This is gonna be great!"

"I agree! Now, let's get back on track!"

Iida takes point again, striding off in his ridiculous walking posture. There's a bit of silence between the three, with Iida constantly scanning for something out of the ordinary, Midoriya staring at pretty much everything, and Uraraka who couldn't stop glancing at Midoriya. She found herself trailing behind, and kept her focus on the green hero.

"He's so cute. Why can't I get you out of my head? It doesn't bug me...but I just can't help feeling this way..."

She snaps out of it as a loud thunderclap literally shakes the city as two bright lights rush out of a massive hole in the sky. The orange light flew over the horizon into the ocean, far away from the city. The green light, on the other hand, crashes into the city park, where numerous civilians brace for impact, but the crash was far from violent. The light hits the ground, but as it fades, everything is fine, but Haru lays there, completely unconscious. The heroes all head towards the light, and Aizawa motions for them to stay back.

"DAMMIT, BAKUGO! I SAID TO STAY WHERE YOU ARE!" Aizawa shouted as Bakugo frustratedly screamed in the background, thinking the downed person was a villain.

Aizawa drops down to the streets below and runs towards the body. Iida, Midoriya, and Uraraka look on from a distance as their teacher examined the barely conscious body.

"Excuse me. Please move. This is official hero business."

The civilians look on in shock and awe as Aizawa examines the body. He rolls him over to see if his nostrils were moving. He lays him flat on his back.

"Chest is rising and falling normally. His nostrils are showing me he's breathing. I don't see any markings or damages...strange."

"Aizawa!" The other pro heroes called out as he oversaw the body.

"I've got nothing." He said as a brown leather wallet fell out of the body's back pocket. "Open it up. Let's get some ID."

"Hara Nakamura. Age: 18. It's a city ID. No hero license...just some cash and cards."

As they examine his wallet, Haru begins to cough. He groans and rolls onto all fours, and his mask falls off.

"Where am I?" He asks weakly.
