I was talking to a friend and getting frustrated over the dialogue in a KaiShin fic I was writing since I couldn't write out Shinichi's part right. That's when I stupidly said "I should just write a fic where everything he says is 'Shinjitsu wa itsumo hitotsu!'" and my friend was like "DO IT"

... and so I did. Spur of the moment idea.

Warnings: kinda crackish. Mentions of hurting a robot. Livid Heiji.

"Shinjitsu wa itsumo hitotsu!"

"Geez, Kudou, won't ya stop yelling that already?" Heiji glared at Shinichi. "Did ya break or somethin'?"

"Shinjitsu wa itsumo hitotsu!"

"Shut up already, will ya?" Heiji stomped and shook his fist at the detective.

"If he is broken, shouldn't we try to fix 'im?" Kazuha grabbed Heiji to keep him from destroying the boy.

"If he's broken then why is he even still talkin'! Let's just break him more and shut 'im up!" Struggling against Kazuha's grip, the Osakan Detective's anger levels grew.

"Shinjitsu wa itsumo hitotsu!"

"Can I just break it already!" Heiji broke free from Kazuha and shook the detective's shoulders. "Oi, what happened to your brain, Kudou? If you don't stop I'll smash yer head into this wall!"

"Heiji, stop it!" Kazuha pulled Heiji back away from Shinichi. "What'll we do if you end up killin' 'im?"

"It's better than listenin' to this thing on repeat!"

"There has to be another way to shut Kudou-kun up though!"

"Shinjitsu wa itsumo hitotsu!"

"After all, I'm going to kill 'im!" Heiji broke free and ran after Shinichi again and grabbed a hold of him.

"Heiji, stop!"

"Ahh-What are you doing to Shinichi?" Ran came into the room only to be surprised by the site of Heiji hitting Shinichi against a wall.

"Ran-chan, help! I can't stop Heiji on my own!" Kazuha looked to her with tears in her eyes. "At this rate, Kudou-kun will..."

"SHINjitsu wa ITSumo hiTOTSU!" Shinichi started to twitch oddly.

"Heiji, stop it! His speech is even messin' up now! Yer not gonna fix 'im like this!"

"Hattori-kun, don't touch Shinichi!" Ran glared at Heiji and ran over to stop him.

"Sh-shinjitsu wa... Itsumo hito-totsu!"

"You're breakin' 'im, Heiji! Leave poor Kudou-kun alone already!" Kazuha joined Ran and pulled Heiji from the now-stuttering, twitching Shinichi.

"What are all of you doing?" Shinichi stared at the site before him: Toyama and Ran holding back a livid Hattori with a beaten-up look-a-like robot of him on the ground.

"Shinjitsu wa itsumo... hitoootsu!" The machine sputtered

"Ah, Shinichi! Where did this doll come from? And if we don't turn it off soon Hattori-kun will destroy it!"

"What is with this stupid doll o' yers? All it does is repeat your stupid catchphrase again and again!" Heiji practically screamed at Shinichi, pointing to the nearly-broken replica of him on the ground.

"It was probably just some stupid magician's prank." Shinichi sighed and glared at the doll on the ground. "A really stupid magician's prank."

"What makes you say that, Shinichi?" Inquired Ran.

"Because, in the end, there's only one truth for everything." Shinichi claimed smugly.

"KUDOU!"
