Lyrics: "Bones" by Little Big Town
They're Waiting For The Sun To Go Down
Rain poured heavily from the sky. Ear-deafening thunder clapped in the Heavens above. Lightning streaked through the sky and lit up the darkness of the night. A war was taking place. But not just any war. This was would determine the fate of the world.
You've got bones in your closet
And you've got ghosts in your town
It was a battle between good and evil, angels and demons, Heaven and Hell. Both sides had suffered equal loses, but neither one was backing down. There was too much at stake to lose. When this war ends, our world as we know it will either be brought towards the light, or plunged into darkness.
Ain't no doubt dear, they're going to come out
They're waiting for the sun to go down
The battle enraged on this dark and stormy night. Both sides fought as hard as they could, enduring pain that no one else has ever felt before. The ground was stained crimson with blood of the innocent and the wicked. The battle would not last much longer.
You can't hide from your demons
Feel them all lurking around
The first hint of dawn approached as the sun slowly crept it's way over the land. As the battle winded down, the soldiers who were left standing started feeling the full effect of the war. They stood there together, praying that daylight would approach. Because only then would the pain end. Only then would the winner be declared.
You're running scared because you know they're out there
They're waiting for the sun to go down
