A trip to Rush Valley had resulted with the purchase of this attire on Ed's bill, given his scoff at the price, though Winry knew under this peeved coating that he was anticipating this day as much as herself, even as she had wished Pinako would have lived to prepare her wedding dress.

Was every romance such a binding of dedication and the feeling of being dizzy with infatuation? She had no one to ask and found she was too unsure to cooperate with her logic, yet a look at him spelt assurance.

When had time deemed them adults, she was unsure. It felt like yesterday she had been in tears at his first departure for Central, and the day before she was indecisive about his childish attempts at alchemy, each in turn taking place years prior this day.

Alphonse offered her what she knew was a smile from one of the front seats, his armor beaming under the auburns and corals of the sunset.

Marrying Edward meant that she had to accept his absence and live knowing he could disappear from her any day, but the positives of having his warmth, self, and being able to love openly without regret outweighed those negative factors.
