So, after a while of thinking and random thoughts flashing across my head as quickly as blinking, I decided to start updating almost daily. (I say almost, because it's not guaranteed I have a story every freaking day)
Along with this, my writing will stretch to other fandoms, such as those of Pokemon, Okage, Harry Potter (yellow you have competition now :P), Deltora, and many others.
The reason for this is simple, I'm tired of being silent and letting Dark Cloud lay dormant. In fact, one of the first things I called myself when I started writing was "The Great Reviver" for I truly believed I could bring Dark Cloud back. I plan to fulfill this promise to my younger self, by bringing in other fandoms, other people who perhaps remember this ancient game and say, "Hey, I should write for that."Will I succeed? Hopefully. You could help too, fellow readers. Extend your writings to the stars, write for Dark Cloud itself, even if you're new.
My first story was a truth or dare story for Dark Cloud, and here I am today, capping over 250,000 words. No idea is stupid.
Let's get on with this story, shall we? :)
The sun shone brightly on Norune village, Renee humming to herself as she walked hom a strange looking potted plant in her hands. It was a rather strange looking plant, bright green leaves, and with strange white petal like things. She arrived at her home, opening the door. She placed the potted plant on the table, smiling at it.
"There, no more pesky mosquitoes." She said cheerfully, going outside to fix her garden, as well as to feed the llama.
Toan arrived home shortly afterwards, Xiao trailing behind him. She was nibbling on a piece of Fish Candy, this one coated in a thin layer of white chocolate. She finished off the treat, before she started sniffing the air, her ears perking up. She approached the strange flower on the table, giving it a big sniff.
"Xiao?" Toan asked, looking at her. His eyes slightly widened as Xiao grabbed one of the leaves, and began chewing on it. She let out a content purr, before she dropped to the floor, rolling around lazily, her white sundress getting a bit wrinkled and dirty. She let out silly giggles, pawing at a ball of yarn laying under Renee's chair.
"Strinnnngg!" She chirped, playing with the ball of yarn. Toan watched, slightly worried, slightly confused.
"Are you okay Xiao?" Toan asked worriedly.
"Of course Xiao is master!" She giggled, accidentally tying herself up with the yarn. "Oops!" She giggled, trying to untie herself, doing nothing but tangling herself up even more. Toan let out a nervous laugh, as he wasn't sure of why Xiao was acting like this, or why she was giggling so much.
"Can you help Xiao?" She asked. Toan nodded, a bit unsuredly. He approached her, carefully untying the yarn from around her. She let out a cheerful cheer, before wrapping her arms around him, burying her head into his neck, earning a blush in response.
"Uhh..."
"Xiao loves you Master." She chirped, purring and nuzzling his neck. "Does Master love Xiao?"
"Of course Master does...I mean, I do." He corrected himself. Xiao giggled, before kissing his neck, giving him a gentle bite afterwards. Toan let out a minor grunt, but smiled at her, running his hands through her hair. She let out a content sigh, before he breathing evened out, and soft snores rumbled into Toan's neck.
"Toan!" Renee's voice called from outside. "Do you like the catnip I bought?"
"Yeah..." Toan said, looking at the catnip sitting on the table, and the sleeping Xiao. "Yeah, I do."
Catnip is so silly, and the effects are even sillier on catgirls :3 Enjoy! More fandoms coming soon!
